Your perfume for every occasion videos are the best! After the breakup perfumes never occurred to me. I wear all the versions of no. 19 regularly. No. 19 EDT or Poudre are my “power” fragrances. The EDP is more casual for me. I love the no. 5 parfum for everything. Gucci Memoire is also a favorite of mine. I bought a bunch of it when I heard it was being discontinued. I love the chamomile. Fresh/green fragrances make me happy.

Excellent top 10 theme! I think several Francesca Bianchi perfumes would fit this theme for me. Grounding, comforting, and exude human warmth.
Agree on Chanel no. 5 extrait, and not only for breakups. It is haughty and elegant and always boosts my confidence. The essence of "pull yourself together and keep walking".

Also, even if they have no smell in commun (I guess, I never smelled the discontinued one) which one between Encens mythique and Mahora is the best perfume symbol of sadness? How does their respective darkness compare? 🖤
Thank you Camille 🙏🏻💖 I would sad both are equally powerful but sad in different ways. Encens is damp sadness comparable to the Highlands in Scotland when its foggy and damp and twilight-y while Mahora is a desert like sadness and loneliness where nights are freezing cold and days are burning hot.

In my personal history, Shalimar EDP and perfume, back in the 90es. But when my current husband gifts this to me it's now another tale.
SOTD: Shalimar EDT, on my way to work. Only 20 sprays or something like that.
Its awesome when we manage to turn perhaps negative memories associates with a certain perfume into good memories again and liking the fragrance all over again 💖💚

Cristalle EDT would have been a good option in your Quiet Luxury review.

My favourite “calm me down” fragrance is Antaeus by Chanel. It just makes me feel so much better whenever I smell it!
I also love Tom Ford’s Noir de Noir, as well as Chanel Sycomore EDP to make me feel good 🙂

@@essence-tiallydacob9611 Definitely need to try that one but the cost puts me off I’m afraid. When I buy perfumes, I want to wear them everyday and £207 for 15ml is too much! Plus, I’d prefer a spray version. I wish Sycomore EDP lasted longer and projected more. For me, it’s almost instantly a skin scent but a very nice one. It lasts for about 4 hours as a skin scent and projects for about 15-30m (seriously)!
Sad break up fragrance for me is Apres L'Ondee. Spray, cry, repeat.
Followed Shalimar or Opium when I need to get my B#@*! on.

YSL "Black Opium" and Dior "Addict" are definately some of the most seductive fragrances on the market.. and fortunately there are higher quality versions of these two fragrances available. V Canto "Lucrethia" being the 95% match for Black Opium. ✨
There are only 3 perfumes I would wear after any kind of a breakup. They would be Chanel No. 5 extrait..
extrait Chanel No. 22.
And Casbah by Robert Piguet. Could never be without those 3 perfumes

Dacob , I have a close friend with breast cancer 😢 and I want give her a perfume .Which one would help her through her journey ???
Thank you Despina. Thats a very tricky question. If your friend is going through chemotherapy then they might not want to smell any perfumes. Some patients feel nausea when they smell any perfumes. So be careful with perfumes when undergoing chemo. Also one of my family members went through chemo and interestingly enough while they were going through it they could not stand any perfumes except Sarah Jessica Parker’s Lovely. But that was many years ago and I am not sure if the perfume has been reformulated today and if ingredients have been cheapened which might lead to the perfume not having the same effect as when my family member was using it. So bottom line is, I would ask my friend openly if they even want to smell a perfume right now and if so, which one. Wishing your friend a super speedy recovery and a lot of strength in the process of healing. 💖💖💖
