Dear RUclips friends, in this video I talk about the top ten time travel perfumes. These fragrances are not only perfect for time travel vibes into the past but also into the future as well as into an emotion or feeling to be in an imaginary place with people that are no longer here. Evocative scents that might just be able to make us feel as if we were together with special people again. I truly believe that everything is possible with perfumes! I hope you enjoy this video and check out my "Top 10 Chanel Summer Perfumes - The Ultimate Chanel Fragrance Selection for Warm and Hot Weather" next: ruclips.net/video/6gSstT0f_W8/видео.html
OMG, so true! As I’ve always said music and perfumes can let us time travel in a second. Like you, I have one particular perfume that brings me bad memories, except that in my situation it’s a stronger and emotional reaction (don’t know if anyone had this kind of experience before). Back in the 90s my ex used to wear the Dolce & Gabbana Homme which I used to like. One time he was wearing that perfume while we went out dining, clubbing and on the way back home I’ve go so sick, it turned out I had food poisoning. He took me to ER, spent many hours getting IV fluid cuz I was dehydrated. It took me a whole week to fully recover. Just when everything seems to be back to normal, he wore the same perfume again. This time, I couldn’t tolerate the smell, it unconsciously gave me literally headache and nausea. The weird thing was, I wasn’t even thinking about that night when I got sick, that reaction came out before my brain could remember of the incident. Til today I still cannot smell that perfume, cuz I will get headache and nausea again…it’s forever engraved in my brain as “bad perfume” 😂
This video is perfect. Love this concept. So many personal stories behind perfumes for each and everyone of us. Not in a nosy way but actually being interested in someones story or memory💖
Bois d’Argent is sheer bliss. Although I also feel sad when I smell it, and remember that time when it felt like every month brought another masterpiece, Dior Homme, Terre d’Hermes, and Le Male still in its heyday, it felt so exciting. Perfumes have never been that exhilarating since.
My lost innocence fragance is definetly COCO CHANEL, wore it in my early 20's, I was neither ready for this perfume, nor for the changings I was going throught at the time...😢 Loved your video so poetic...❤❤❤
I knew my mother wore Wind Song by Prince Machiabelli. I didn't remember what it smelled like........until I smelled it! It immediately took me back nearly 70 years. She passed away very young. When I smelled the fragrance, she lived again. I could see her, and smell her like it was yesterday. I'm 74.. This was in the 50s.
For me Vol de Nuit (Guerlain) is my No 1 time travel Fragrance. It doesn't only remind me of 1930ies Europe, but also of the scent of the women who where young during this time and old when I was a child.
I used to fragrance model (at least that’s what they called us) and it was all about “time travel” so I understand the concept. Fragrance and scents/notes are meant to take us to a happy place, a safe space, a fun space, a romantic space, a space that made us happy. If the fragrance takes you there…..you will buy it. Now….let’s not forget the adjectives that surround the fragrance….elusive, seductive, rich, romantic, glorious, etc…
Blessings Dacob! I’ve missed you. ❤ I wanted to update you on the Sparkling EDP version of Boudoir. I received it and it is the same juice, although the color is more gold than pink / red amber. Apparently it was just her travel spray version. Thank you for this lovely video. And I love when you talk about Vivienne and I was happy to see her at #1. You mentioned some of my faves. You’re always on point. Sending you much love! Also, just wanted to add. I don’t know why but Shalimar reminds me of an ancient library. Maybe the library of Alexandria once upon a time. Where lovers clashed minds and hearts! Maybe a past life scent memory…
This is going to be good!!!💖💖💖 So interesting! Oooh the Red Cap story😢. My most favourite video in the world. I was kind of a wallflower and Red Cap empowered me so much. Red Cap will always remind me of that change💖
First of all, thank you very much dear Dacob for sharing your precious and personal moments with us 💗 I can feel every emotion on your words and your eyes deep inside of me. I will share with you also my first memory of a perfume, and that memory is in part very painful but in a way also beautiful because it opens and develop my love for perfumes. It was the smell of Devotee in my country or Imari in the rest of the world from Avon. The fresh and almost metalic feelings of the aldehydes, oh I love aldehydes...the sensation of the freshness of the Imari cologne in my neck early in the morning. My mother use to wear it every day and she always puts some of it on me. She was a very awful mother but the specific moment of wear the cologne was a good moment for me, it was the only way of smell perfume in my early infancy, and I adore perfume since I was 3 or 4 years old. Thanks again dear for sharing your soul with us, I love your work 💗 hugs and love for you 💗
Wow this video is everything…. Your 2 channel are so different i love your sense of humour on the other channel but I connect with your tube here so much such a favourite for me Thank you
I could kick myself, 2 years ago I purchased a bottle of boudoir in a clearance section for £15, if only I’d picked up more especially now the prices have rocketed now it’s discontinued
@@essence-tiallydacob9611 😩 absolutely, my saved alerts on eBay just make my eyes water with what they’re wanting for it. I sit up late constantly refreshing the newly listed items in the hope someone’s not aware of what they’re selling 😁

I agree. Times feel so watered down….

Remembrance of Things Past is a wonderful, wonderful book. Heart swoon.
🥰
My coming of age perfume was decidedly unsophisticated but I miss it so much, Oceanus from The Body Shop. I want those memories unlocked so bad!!
Always awesome how perfumes can take us back in time 🥰
Bravo! Ugh, loved the creativity and sensitivity put into this! 🥺🌹🌹🌹
Thank you so much!! ✨🌅💖

Your interpretation of 22 is so interesting, as for it propels me into the future! I envision clean skies and tall glass buildings.
The past can be the future too 😉🎉🌅
I love this topic and all of your time travel picks! Really enjoyed it!❤
Thank you so much!! 🥹🌅🥰
Your Chanel 22 imagery took me to Gatsby’s house!
Love No22 🥰🥰🥰
