Hi Biss, my favorites are Red Cold River, Breathe, Dear Agony with the Wonderfu Lacy Sturm, Failure, Evil Angel and Blow Me Away with Valoria! Too many others to list! Hope you check them out alone if you do not do a reaction! God bless you and all your friends here! Take care!
You’re gonna go down a rabbit hole with Breaking Benjamin! They literally have soooo many great songs it’s impossible, for me a least, to chose a favorite. Pretty much which ever song that is recommended by them is gonna be good.
They, along with one other group, have *never* made a bad song. I would always recommend going down the Breaking Benjamin rabbit hole; it's a goot hole to get down.
This band has a LOT of good songs. Give me a Sign, Sooner or Later, Rain, Topless, Home, Polyamorous, I will not Bow, Blow me Away, Skin, Dear Agony, Red Cold River, and Ashes of Eden are personal favorites of mine. I'm sure I'm forgetting some though lol
You are right saying a LOT of good songs. I have seen them live several times, and the last time was in May of this year. Their set had 18 songs. So awesome.
A lot of metal bands use religious imagery, but it doesn't always mean they're a religious band. Most of their songs are about dealing with severe heartbreak and loss
I met Ben Burnley when they released their first album Saturate at a small show in Scranton, PA where I lived at the time, and they were from the same area. He was a really nice dude. I saw them 4 times before they got really successful, and knew they were going to make it big.
This is basically a witch trial, way back when they would have the accused carry a pillar or stone into a lake and if the person drowned they were deemed not a witch. Crazy right
The "wise men wonder while strong men die" I always took as the philoiphers/politicans/etc wonder/debate/discuss while the real world consequences are paid for by the "strong men", the soldiers/warriors.
Thank you for watching the video, It means a lot to me . I will leave this pinned message here to REMIND everyone that i do not have TELEGRAM and there is no GIVEAWAY. Those you see are bot scams . Keep yourself safe and know that I would not ask for your info. ❤ ❤
Breaking Benjamin formed in 99 they released 1st album in 2002. 1st two albums had different guitarist and drummer. Their 1st 4 album were all Really good! They had hits on at least 3 if not all 4. Hoping late 2009 early 2010 Benjamin Burnley left group due to illness. He reformed group in 2014. They Released 3 albums since return. Dark Before Dawn, Ember, and Aurora. Out of 3 Ember is their best new Album IMO. Anything else I missed sorry
they only reason the original guitarist and drummer aren't in the group anymore are because of the falling out between them and Benjamin when they re-released Blow Me Away with female vocals added to it without the entire bands consent
Breaking Benjamin is one of my all time faves. I will not bow is a good one, blow me away is also awesome. Evil Angel and Dear Agony are also master pieces, but sad also.
It's funny you mentioned the drums specifically because they were written by Benjamin Burnley as well. Up until the last several years, he wrote EVERYTHING for the band.
Loved the reaction bisscute. Just about every song by them pulls on the heartstrings, and this one is no different. Wonderful band and ben's voice has always been one of my favorites. Keep up the great work. 🤘💙
I believe it’s the story of all people who are condemned to die who stay strong and don’t want to show how scared they actually are in front of there loved ones.
In my opinion, I believe, the rock can be represented as a symbol of hardness or the feeling of being trapped in a difficult situation the cross, the fight against suffering or moral conflict without leaving aside that it can be something religious the rose, fragility and vulnerability symbolizing itself as beauty and love the snake, betrayal or danger, as it can also be represented as transformation and rebirth.
Hey Biss, I'm not sure if it was the intent of the video but, in the late 1800's and early 1900's in the swamps of Louisiana. Condemned prisoners were sometimes given a choice weather they wanted to be hanged or be chained to a big rock and taken out into the swamp and drown. (ie fed to the gators) With that thought fresh in your mind, BIG HUGS as always! 😍👍
Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins is credited as the writer of this song. He was known to write several songs for bands, another being Taproot. That is a band worth checking out, especially debut single Again and Again!!
Noticed this comment and wanted to mention that this song wasn't one of the songs co-written by Billy Corgan. He co-wrote Follow, Forget It, and Rain on that album
@Dan Holy shit, I just fact checked myself, you are absolutely right! I appreciate the correction. He also wrote Lost in the Woods by Taproot, that song rules!!
I see what happens in the video as a old witch trial, basically if he survived he'd be a witch and killed but he was innocent so died (as a aside the carving on the rock is actually the bands logo) , I will not bow is good although Breath or Give Me a Sign are also good in my mind. I'm sure there is more meaning but that's what I see
I have loooooved breaking Benjamin for YEARS so I am sorry if this is so long but I want to make my recommendations for you. I’d suggest you do Red Cold River, Torn in Two and Tourniquet in that order off of Ember because those videos tell a story. It is one continuous story and it is BEAUTIFUL and sad. What’s cool is characters from the previous videos make an appearance in Torn in Two. For example, Jane from Diary of Jane, one guy from Never Again, some stuff from their Polyamorous video and there is a lady you can see in the so cold video is also there. It is so cool to see that and I think you would LOVE it. And just for a side recommendation I recommend Never Again. Just because if you do see Torn in Two, you’ll notice the one guy from Never Again is in the video. Plus that song is beautiful and the video is heavy hitting just like all of their videos are.
Hey Bisscute, new subscriber here. I spent the last couple days going through pretty much all your videos. Metallica, Guns N Roses, Jinjer, Slipknot, Pantera, Queen, Band Maid, Lovebites, Dragonforce, Korn, Pink Floyd... all those bands that I love. And your reactions are always so entertaining. Anyway, So Cold is such a good song, I bought the album just from hearing it and I didn't even know Breaking Benjamin before that, I instantly became a fan.
If you're going to listen to more Breaking Benjamin i have to suggest Unknown Soldier, as many have stated there are just so many good songs of theirs. But Unknown Soldier have always stuck with me. It touches the subjects of PTSD, depression and war.
Love Breaking Benjamin and glad to see you enjoying their music. Have you listened to anything from Three Days Grace? If not you should check out Three Days Grace: Pain, Just Like You, Chalk Outline, Break, Riot, Right Left Right, Gone Forever, World So Cold, Fallen Angel, I Hate Everything About You, Never To Late, I Am Machine, Animal I Have Become and I know that's alot but I could name many more. You should check out Shinedown to
The symbol on the stone he's carrying is the band's symbol which is a Celtic knot. It means protection. Runes on the end are either Norse or Celtic as well. Not sure what it is saying though.
I've listened that song like hundreds of times and this is the first time i'm seeing music video :D Great reaction! always a pleasure to watch your clips and another song i would love for You to see would be a Mudvayne - Happy Stay blessed Bis!
@3:44 He kinda does this “Yoda speak” style of phrasing in the second verse, and it was interesting to understand what he’s saying there, basically: don’t cry if you find your family dead and dry in this land of make-believe.” What a visual - your family dead and dry. 😬
Definitely don't what to stop your Breaking Benjamin tour. They're from the area where I grew up so tons of pride there. But, curious if you'd be into Infected Mushroom at all. For some reason this song made me think of Kazabubu. Maybe try I Shine, as well. Fair warning, they are not rock or metal, but if you like Rammstein, you may be open to the electronic genre.
The problem with Live versions of this band is that they use some very detailed sounds that are not fully captured when performing live so the song is noticeably different, also I looked for live versions of I will not Bow and I don't think there is any official live video only fans recordings which already sounds even more different than the original
I got to see these guys for the first time in 2019, it was awesome, I will absolutely see them again. You have to check out "Dear Agony" with Lacy Strum it's one of my favorites 😎
It looks more like it has to do with the Salem witch trials. If you were accused of being a witch they tied you to a stone to see if you floated. They believed If you floated you were a witch, if you didnt you would drown. Pretty fucked up
I dont know if anyone said anything and i know this is an old video but you did ask and i dont see a reply so this music video i believe is about a zombie apocalypse lol.
3:50. Damn it! I’m sure, quite sure, nearly one hundred percent sure you will never be hurt in real life by a snake, unless a human uses one to torment you! They are mostly harmless to humans, so amazing in how differently they evolved, so smooth and dry at the same time, and so unbelievably beautiful! It’s fine tho, if none of that swayed you, I hate small to large rodents! And nothing will change that for me!😆

I see a lot of People want I will not Bow , is there any good live ? Or should I do the official??
Definetly the official one, powerful as always
Is a really good one!!!
Actually all the album "Dear Agony" is masterpiece, also the album "Phobia"
I love your reactions 😍😍

"Wise men wander while strong men die" - My favorite Breaking Benjamin quote 🙂🖤🖤🖤
Me too. This was the first song I ever heard by BB and that line instantly stuck out to me. Def my favorite line
Wonder*
its wonder not wander
Wise me wonder while strong me die is the reason the wise man ...aka ..coward gets to be wise. He is wise because others sacrificed for others

Breaking Benjamin is one of my all time faves. I will not bow is a good one, blow me away is also awesome. Evil Angel and Dear Agony are also master pieces, but sad also.
First time here and your reacting to my favorite band. Ive seen them twice in concert.
Breaking Benjamin is like Linkin park or disturbed, phenomenal artists and messages. Breaking Benjamin is considered a religious alt metal band
As you are on the BB trip, i suggest "Breath". It is on the same album.
It's funny you mentioned the drums specifically because they were written by Benjamin Burnley as well. Up until the last several years, he wrote EVERYTHING for the band.
