    Makes me think this is not what I need for my very hilly yard. I was going to sign the papers in to morning but all the negatives you mentioned were my exact concerns.

      A lot of times they will let you demo one, see if they will let you try it out just to be sure. But it is rather weak while pulling hills and trying to cut for sure

      @@barnescycle that and the scalping with the larger deck seem to be problems they wished away when I brought them up. I think they want to move what's on hand rather than what I need. I appreciate your time on this. 👍👍

      @@chancecarlton8403 What did you end up going with?

      @@jasonl5961 the dealerships ended up pissing me off so I bought a 2015 1025r from craigslist. I have a lot of swoops and hills up to 30 degrees and its fine in low and I fluid filled the rear tires which really helps it on side hills. I had to fiddle with the best deck height and anti scalp wheel height but its doing a good job cutting. Put it in 4x for certain parts. To use the front end loader I have had to buy a lot of weight. I added two 50lb wheel weights this week and I'm waiting on the ballast box to arrive. I almost tipped twice without enough weight and using the FEL... uneven spots in the yard really increase the weight in the loader 1G turns to 2G pretty quick and suddenly you're in a bad way.

    Dont you find the split rings on the 3 point arm links pain?......they are one of my complaints on the 1025r tlb I have.

    • @1965l88

      I use a couple of "hairpin" type cotter pins in place of the split rings. They only take a second to pop in and out. They also make a safety pin style locking pin that would work.

      I have kept all equipment so far at 4ft and it has no problem Bush hogging some pretty thick and over grown brush.

      I have my 200hr service coming up its been a while , I'll be going over and under it soon and I'll be sure to let you know. It seems like there is a couple that's hidden or hard to get to though. I work on so many things it's hard to retain details after so long lol

      There is 1 on the U joint off the engine with a hole in the plate/cover. It’s hard to get a grease gun on properly. With the deck off it’s easier to get to at about the7:00 position.

    We're you required to have a down payment?

    • @barnescycle
      @barnescycle  3 года назад +1

      Nothing down 0 interest for 60 months but if you go longer they charge a small interest rate but it’s the better deal to do the 60 with 0 interest

      @@barnescycle was the mower deck extra or included in the base price?

    • @barnescycle
      @barnescycle  3 года назад +1

      It was purchased with the tractor, now that you mention it, I had to purchase the deck and the bucket to get the 0 interest but I would have purchased them regardless as they are two of the most important additions for me
