I'm alright without guns till they arrive,the animation and code for making the guns and other are need to be animated and fix bugs

Really happy to see more new weapon types, especially the polearms and the idea behind the nocturnal weapons sounds cool too. This game really needed more weapon variety.

I am more excited for polearms than firearms. I love spears, glaives and halberds. The only thing close to this now is the scarecrow scythe. I would like craftable throwing spears too

Howlergoon? Bruh. It's rare in my case that some that some zombie doesn't yell and call out virals and volatiles when I'm fighting a goon at night 😆
What’s the point of adding firearms in DL2? Is it because people still struggle with zombies today, or the game is too hard for others? just my thoughts. I like my assorted variety of melee weapons, including the bows/ crossbows
It is true that the game doesn't really need them. I just hope they are balanced and not op like in the first game
It's because zombies are TOO EASY, i want gun so they could make more virals to spawn.

I am excited for this update, but I really cant wait for guns in the game. I hope they add guns soon.
At 1st I was pissed for the lack of guns, now I'm used to not having them. Honestly I see they being more of a problem than anything. The slightest little noise and your getting mobbed by virials, to point its getting annoying. Can just imagine what it'll be like with guns.
Obviously I’d want everything they’re adding to be finished. But techland said we could be expecting guns this year late October. I wish they’d stop making false promises and just give us realistic release dates for new content. I’m legend 250, and yeah, this update will make me hop on for the new weapons. For how long though? Maybe a couple or days, then I’ll be left with nothing to do. What ever. Hoping for dlc 2 soon.

@Techland please please PLEASE don't lazily add guns. Make it fit the dark age theme. The ammo is gone so don't give me a 9mm glock. Give me makeshift weapons like the boomstick but more usable, use another form of ammo, maybe scrap? Make it fit the theme guys!
Another event are we at least getting co op missions and nightmare mode ? Iam tierd of these bounty events

I have 50/50 feelings on guns, tolga and fatin and maybe vnc raids are coming with dlc 2 in the second anniversary event not entirely sure tho
I’m fine with them as long as enemies don’t use them. Cause then i never have to see guns. If enemies have them (unless they are janky and junk) NOPE whyyyy. I like the theme of the game as it. I don’t think pristine gun metal semi automatic guns fit. But that’s just me

I'm still holding my breath on the update. Is there anything moderately OP that we can expect to be nerfed lol? The air drops look interesting but I kinda wish they were a permanent thing just to have something else to do that isn't just fighting renegades. I've been spending more time in DL1 playing the Night Runner mod. its equal parts frustrating and fun. I just wished that someone modded the pyza suit to either negate fall damage or work like a glider lol. If you haven't tried the night runner mod, i highly recommend it. It is more difficult and the first part will focus more on avoiding than fighting. it is fair though, once you understand how the skills work, you can find more creative ways to fight infected and ryze's men using items that were quickly overlooked and power crept in the base game or new concoctions like poison fire crackers.
Sounds fun I may have to check out that mod some time

Airdrops need to make a permanent return, with other factions and bandits going for it too. When guns get here you know the game has come to an end with updates. They're going to milk every penny until then because they know that the guns will bring the most purchases.
I might be reading too much into it but the image is shown during the night so the glowing axe might be a nocturnal weapon tease.
Could be which would be great if the nocturnal weapons glow
So here’s a theory the plane might lead to how the guns my come back again the military that might be after crane
That is not a bad theory. I just hope that some part of the guns are related to the stash that was talked about in the history lesson side quest. It would be nice

@@RespawnedGent idk but i think it will be free becuse the return of tolga and fatin was featured in a 2023 roadmap and everything that was mentioned in the roadmap of dying light 2 became free so i have a feeling it will be free plus techland even said we can only get guns in dying light 2 through story quest so thats an other theory why the tolga and fatin story mode might be free

They are probably going to save Firearms and Tower Raid for the anniversary event come next February. Also, any news on when DLC2 comes out? Techland's been working and tweaking the game so much to the point where the wait better be worth it
Dlc 2 won't be until next year sometime. I hope that we get it early but there has been no word on when

I think that it is total BS that they didn't just put everything in dying light 2 from dying light 1. That includes guns, they should of been in the game since day one. Then they should of added new weapons like flamethrower, RPG, grenade launcher, etc. I think it it stupid that this is what they are calling support for something that should of been implemented from the start.
Free Hakon Bundle? Everybody who bought it should get $10 worth of DL bucks.
It is possible it is something different or a typo. They put wrong information in these things sometimes, but it is frustrating for those that bought it

I get the frustration for those who already bought the Hakon bundle, but is it any different than those that paid full price for the game and now , for a limited time, it's 50% off?
Free anything is great, but I think doing a one time offer of 50% off any bundle is more beneficial to us and Techland. We spend less than normal price and they still make a little profit.
