We're very happy this project has inspired you. Thanks for commenting!! 💖 -Michelle
I made the first ones you showed us and gave them to all the officers in my daughters Police Dept, they all wear them pinned inside their ballistic vests.
That is very kind of you to do. I am sure they loved it! - Yajaira
I have learned the easiest way to turn the prayer quilt through is to take a pair of needle nose pliers and put it through the opening and grab a little bit of the material on the other side and pull it through first! Thank you for your videos!
What a great tip!! 😍 😎 -Michelle
Thank you for this! When I made my first 12 pocket prayer quilts I used flannel in the middle and sewed wrong sides together so I didn’t have to turn it. Then I took my pinked rotary blade and went around the four sides for an easy pretty finished look. Saved a lot of time!! ❤️
Hi Christine! Thank you for sharing! - Sophie
I made the 4-Patch Prayer Quilt, from your other video, had quite a number to sew to place in Christmas cards, so I sewed wrong sides together instead of turning. Trimmed with pinking shears. Worked out nice! Love your videos!
Glad that worked out! Thanks for the tip. Happy to hear you enjoyed it! - Yajaira
That's a great idea to make this project even quicker. Thanks for the tip.
That’s exactly what I did except I used a pinked rotary blade ❤️
What a fabulous idea with the CupCake Mix. Thanks. Love the pocket prayers.
Thank you for watching! - Sophie
I make the pocket prayer quilts and include them in all my Etsy orders. My customers love them and it’s a great way to share Gods love without being too pushy and in their face.
Thank you Jen and God bless from Jen

I purchased several charms of the Star of David for my Jewish friends. My friends were so grateful that I had thought of them in such a caring way.
Yes that is what is so great about this project is the fact that this is a very thoughtful and caring gift to most. Hope you enjoyed making them! - Yajaira
Thank you for sharing all the Pocket Prayer variations. Just absolutely love the thought & love in them. Can’t wait to make some! 💗
Hi Sharon! Thank you for watching! - Sophie
I use cupcake recipe cards to help teach my grand daughter to quilt, and so I have several cards leftover. I sometimes make pin cushions with them, but now I know another use! Such a great idea. Thank you.
That is beautiful! What a great way to spend some time with her! Glad you like them! - Yajaira
I used left over face mask fabric that had fused interfacing for the back fabric and it gave it some extra stability. No need for felt or extra piece of fabric
That's a great idea!! Thanks for watching!! 💖 -Michelle
This is such a lovely gift idea to stick in a greeting card for any occasion. Thank you Jennifer!
Hi Maria! Thank you so much for watching! - Sophie
I learned from a doll maker to use forceps to turn small pieces. You clamp the forcep on the far corner, then turn . She also uses it to place stuffing in small areas.
Hi Loretta! What a great idea! Thank you for sharing! - Sophie
Just had to laugh....that sweet tiny project and the gianormous presser foot LOL . This is something I would love to try :) Hopefully everything I need will be in stock next week. My featherweight needs a workout.
Hi Terry! It's such a fun project to make! Thank you for watching! - Sophie
I made 120 of your first Pocket Prayer Quilts and sent one with each Christmas card. Watching a movie and turning using my favorite chop stick took away the monotony of turning the quilts. The cup cake sure would help to have straight seams. LOL. Thanks for sharing.
Wow 120! That's awesome! Thank you for watching! - Sophie
What a gorgeous pocket prayer project.
So glad you like it! Thank you for watching! - Sophie
Lovely
Thank you! We're glad you like them! 💖 -Michelle
I have made many of the pocket prayer hearts. I laminated the cards hoping to protect them from tearing. But I like the idea of the recipe card. I will try this with my next batch.
Great! We'd love to see them once they are done! - Yajaira
I enjoyed your video so much. I haved made some of the pocket prayers. Would consider rounding the corners of the prayer because the corner edges are pretty sharp. I have poked myself with them! Thanks.
So sorry about that! Thanks for the feedback. We are very glad that you enjoy this project. Thanks for watching!! -Michelle
Such a great project! Thank you.
Hi Colleen! Thank you for watching! Happy Holidays! - Sophie
What a great use for the cupcake papers!
Isn't this so fun?! Thank you for watching! - Sophie
Excuse my ignorance, please, but I do not know what is meant by “Cupcake Papers”. Would you please enlighten this novice quilter?
P.S. LOVE Jennifer’s videos! She’s the best at explaining while demonstrating, and her loving character shines through! God Bless!
Love this, thanks for sharing. Christmas blessings to you and your family

Hi Linda! Thank you for watching! Merry Christmas! - Sophie
I seen you used an applique foot that looks like made it easier to see the sew lines.
Hi Jane! Choosing the best presser foot for the project you're working on is always handy! Thank you for sharing! - Sophie
This is so cute. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching! - Sophie
I made the heart pocket prayer as Christmas gifts & instead of printing the prayer on paper, I used velum paper, so that it won’t tear when it’s handled over time.
That is a wonderful idea! Thank you for sharing that with us. - Yajaira
Love this thankyou🌟

When I woke up this morning I had a prayer request for one of my Sunday School ladies who is pregnant. The baby's name is Evelyn Marie and they had found out yesterday that one side of her heart hadn't grown properly and it wasn't pumping blood correctly.
I woke up with a cadence in my mind "a heart like spring." I couldn't shake it. I read the text and began to pray and what came out was, Lord, please make Evelyn's heart grow like the Grinch two sizes today." Not really sure that's not heresy, but it's what popped into my mind.
I bade breakfast and came to the couch and pulled up RUclips and this was on my first recommended. Then I saw the heart ones. My church is very small and I made over 150 masks for our congregation. I will not use the same fabric, I never want to see it again. But I had two mini fat quarter stacks in baby colors. Impulse buy that I didn't know what to do with. And, I finished a block of the month and was wondering what to do next. Now I do. Thank you so much!
Hi Linda! The pocket prayers make such beautiful, uplifting gifts for difficult times. Thank you for sharing your story! - Sophie

Hi Nancy! Aren't these awesome?! Thank you for watching! - Sophie
It's kind of a shame you never see the cross. I like it tied to the outside with a fabric prayer backing. Thanks
Hi Arthur! That's a great idea too! Thank you for sharing! - Sophie
I'm an advanced beginner sewer. I have lots of scraps from masks. No question is to silly right? When making the pocket prayer quilt it says using 25 different fabrics makes it scrappy look. How many patterns do you do for each quilt?
Hello Jean! The Cupcake Mix Recipe Cards come with a variety of patterns in them! Here is the link to those: www.shabbyfabrics.com/Miss-Rosies-Quilt-Co-Cupcake-Mix-Recipe-3-44ct-P102282.aspx - Yajaira
I have made many of the pocket prayers and love them! My Recipients love them. I guess I don’t understand the cupcake recipe pocket prayer...why is it called cupcake? Is it the pattern?
Hi Judy! Cupcake is the name of the pattern, which gives you a few different options of how to make the pocket prayer. Thank you for watching! - Sophie
Will all of the options for "Cupcake Mix Recipe" make 2 of the pocket prayer quilts OR is the #3 the only one? Thanx
Hi Sherry! Each style will make 2 pocket prayer quilts! Thank you for watching! - Sophie
Is this paper piecing? If so, the recipe card can be only used once?
Hi Martha- The Cupcake Mix Recipe cards by Miss Rosie's Quilt Co work like the Star Singles papers- unlike paper piecing, your fabric doesn't fold around these shapes. Hope that makes sense! 😍 -Michelle
