I have an issue with the bike im hoping you can assist with. I just recieved the bike and turned it on for the first time. It keeps showing me a "brake error" at the top of the screen and the user manual just states "contact dealer"

I want to know how to ride?
Note: my bike has a right hand throttle, so different from yours!
I need to know how to use the throttle. When I press '-' for awhile, the motor comes on and goes forward a little. Thumb throttle does nothing.

According to your description, the pedestrian mode is activated. Here is how to activate the Pedestrian mode:
Press and hold down the [-] button on the handlebar. And to exit the the Pedestrian mode, please release the [-] button.
However, when it comes to riding mode, please click [+] or [-] button. The BQi-C3 Pro has 3 riding modes of Throttle, Pedal-assist and Pedal (muscle power alone). You can click [+] or [-] button to switch the riding modes:
Throttle Assist Mode: 20 mph (32 km/h)
Pedal Assist Mode: 28 mph (45 km/h)

When the e-bike is on, the light is on as well! It's automatic for your safety.

@@niumobility thanks for your reply, i mean they light in the center like in kqi models, the ring light is always ok, but in the bike how do i turn it on?
