From the first day of my life in 1948 until today, my ears have been attuned to the sounds of Jim Carter on Tanza. The effect has been life-long. Thank you, Jim, for every moment, and thank you Neil Finn for showcasing one of New Zealand's true gentlemen of music. Jim, you have a compadre in Neville Claughton who has also been there since I was six.

Hello Steve--Big Neil Finn fan here, and because of Neil, was introduced to Jim many years ago, when Neil visited and re-recorded "Blue Smoke" with him. I know Jim passed recently, and yet, his spirit lives on in the music. What a lovely man he was. So sweet, so humble, so respected. I have sent the videos with him to many of my music loving friends, and we all agree, Jim is a top guy. We all love him very much. We all feel the same about Neil as well. Just love seeing the greetings he sent Jim for his Birthday. Very moving. We also love Neil sharing his amazing talents and great songs with the world. Thanks for your wonderful videos!! Dig, DmGrk

That´s wonderful and a belated Happy Birthday from me to such a nice gentleman. Wishing you well in all things Jim! Try out the current range of Hofner Verythins which have slightly wider necks and string spacing!
