    Thank you so much!...could you also use a varnish (I use a polyutherane varnish sometimes) on the transfers? Or must it be a glaze sealer? Thank you

    • @TheLittleCraftHouse
      @TheLittleCraftHouse  Год назад +1

      Maybe! I have found some transfers bleed colour and react to some of the sealants i've used. So it's always best to keep a bit of scrap and check on that first. Nothing worse than getting to the sealing stage and the colours bleed!

    When you bake them again with the transfer, do you use the same temperature as before when baking the clay? These are beautiful! Thank you for sharing💕🧜‍♀️

    • @TheLittleCraftHouse
      @TheLittleCraftHouse  Год назад +5

      The first few times I did them- I baked at the same temp- but recently realised the instructions actually say to bake at 110deg C.

    Have you ever made your own transfer slides? If so, what type of paper would you recommend for inkjet printer? I want to try to make my own designs.

    Did your paper say you have to spay it with acrylic adhesive before soaking it in water?

    • @TheLittleCraftHouse
      @TheLittleCraftHouse  Год назад +1

      No, these ones don’t say to do that. Just to pop them straight in the water. I guess instructions may vary depending on how they are made.

    Good evening
    please tell me what is the name of the square tool that enables you to level the clay evenly?

    I wonder if this is what they use on those hyperrealistic clay cracking videos. The ones where they make something out of soft clay, cover it with nail polish and crack it for a satisfying video.

    Could you put them on before baking and then bake with the transfer on?

    • @TheLittleCraftHouse
      @TheLittleCraftHouse  Год назад

      The manufacturer recommends not to- as the transfer wouldn’t be able to withstand the heat for the full length of the clay cook time.

    Did you use printed card stock?

    • @TheLittleCraftHouse

      No, its not cardstock- the image has been printed onto a specific type of paper as far as I’m aware. I didn’t make the transfers.

    Good morning, what temperature did you use to bake the clay?

    • @TheLittleCraftHouse
      @TheLittleCraftHouse  Месяц назад

      Hi. I bake at 130degC for an hour. But check your clay package for recommendations as brands can vary. It’s generally fine to bake for longer but not hotter than recommended.

      I do sometimes- but I don’t always use a cutter! I also find it harder to clean any pencil marks off the cutter than the Polymer blank.
