I have wrapping paper saved from gifts my parents have given me in the past. What a great idea to make a keepsake instead of just holding onto the paper 🎄♥️
@@CoffeeCupids I just wanted you to know your channel has quickly become my new favorite! I’ve been watching Polymer Clay tutorials for probably 10 years & you have shown so many fun & creative techniques that I’ve never even heard of! Your creativity is top tier & I just want you to know how much I appreciate your talent, hard work, creativity & dedication to your craft & channel 🙏🏻♥️
I have nearly 30 rolls of wrapping paper and tend to save the larger bits after the holidays. (Yea I have a problem 😅) Turning them into jewelry is an amazing idea and I'm so glad to have found this video. Thank you!
I am so excited about this! I have wanted to try paper napkins but haven't found any at the store that I like. Wrapping paper is so much easier to find. I can't thank you enough!
I was so heartbroken when so many people told me they couldn’t find napkins and since then I am in the hunt for something more accessible with more options🥹 your comment just melt my heart ❤️😍🥹 Thank You 🙏🙏🙏
I will definitely try this one. I think you've perfected the transfer technique. The little extra of dipping the baked piece in water seems to solve the problem of removing the paper. Wonderful!
BTW, you needn't worry about paper burning with polymer. Paper does not burn until it reaches 451 degrees Fahrenheit (232 Celsius). At 275 dF, it will be perfectly safe. The myth that paper might burn in 275dF oven probably stems from the fact that some plastics (which are generally considered sturdier) will melt/burn as low as 275 dF. So it is perfectly safe at 275 dF.
I'm in love with this technique! I do a lot of crafts with polymer clay. I definitely will try this. Thank you for sharing this. And I like your videos.
I've already picked out some old Christmas wrapping paper I'm going to try it with. You make it look so easy, I just hope mine turns out as good as yours did on the video. Happy crafting. 😊
I love these earrings and pendants! A great gift idea too! I agree, I save small scraps of paper and now I have a good use for them. Thank you so much for sharing this great idea!🥰🤩😀
This is simply amazing. I mean who needs to spend hours making complex canes or buy any color of polymer clay other than white!?!?! I think this may cause polymer clay companies to up the price so please everybody, lets keep this quiet. SHHHHHHhhhhh🤐🤫🤟🏼🤍
Wow. That was amazing. This was the first video I've seen from your channel. I'm definitely subscribing now I'm on to binge your videos thank you for sharing.
Those are fabulous, what a wonderful technique. Beautiful Christmas ornaments could be made from that as well. The possibilities are endless. Thank you so much for sharing that.
Very nice. I wonder if this would also work with napkins. BTW paper only ignites around 420 F (Ray Bradbury notwithstanding) so much higher than polymer clay's baking temperature. The only issue is if you have a source of ignition such as a glowing element or gas flame in your oven, otherwise, paper should be quite safe. I often bake on paper to avoid those shiny marks on the lower side of the clay.
Thanks for the info on the paper 🙏😍 nice to know I am not gonna burn the house down 😅😂 I did a tutorial on napkins the link is in the description if you are interested ☺️
What an awesome idea, I love how pretty these turned out, and they would be so customizable, even just with your choice of wrapping paper! And how many of us don’t save bits of special or beautiful wrapping paper?
@@6eloved I tried the 99 percent alcohol. Not great (nothing happened expect smearing but I’ll give it another try since I wasn’t very patient) but the hand sanitizer worked beautifully.I also think ,for the full effect, a busier tissue paper would be much better. Mine was holly leaves but the pattern was farther apart and I put a polymer clay flower on top. I was just fiddling around.
Been experimenting and having a hard time having 100% of the image transfer to the clay. They wind up, looking kind of vintage, which still looks good But definitely not as bright and as complete as in the video. Only thing I can guess is that the polymer clay is not 100% smooth even though to the naked eye it LOOKS good, and I’ve used a pasta machine. But overall the technique DOES work and opens up a lot of possibilities. Thank you :)
I'm very new to polymer clay, great video. I've been watching many videos, to get ideas and what supplies I need to purchase. Thank you for sharing this great idea and not to expensive. I'm thankful I came across your helpful tutorials, looking forward to learning more from you!!

Thank you 🙏 I have absolutely no idea 😅 but it’s worth a try! But even if it works everything would look a bit weird as it has the mirror effect…Because you put the picture face down…
