Just a thought but have you installed stepped cavity trays above the conservatory roof abutment with the rear brick wall? What is a ‘wet’ leaf above the roof extends down into the conservatory where it needs to be a ‘dry’ leaf. Being brick you will get blown rain travelling along minute mortar cracks and running down along the cavity side of the face brickwork.

  • @johncoppock3823

Top job as always. For the safety could you take a couple of say 2 foot lengths of 3x2 and screw on a couple of say 4 inch noggins to locate in the joist, then bolt together with threaded rod and wing nuts. Bott of timbers would rest against the supporting walls. Ok you would have to release and slide out the way to put the last few bricks and padstones in. Make one for each end? (Prob only one end might be loose but may not be able to predict which one?). Thanks for sharing this point.

The bolts through the beams look very pretty but structurallly they are a waste of time!
If the beams are meant ro act compositely they won't transfer any load.
To do that there needs to be proper 'brackets' bolted solidly between the webs.
By the looks of things they are each strong enough to carry the load from each leaf of the wall on their own.
Anyway that's not down to you!
Great job on the brickwork as usual and a nice clean jobsite when you leave.

Not being funny fellas but shouldn't the steels sit directly on the padstones? If not then the gap should be filled with steel shims rather than mortar.
