      Start slowly and build back up gradually.

      Plant soup can treat asthma. There will be no recurrence in the future.

    I started running 5 k every week for two years, at the time my breathing was getting worse but I didn't know I had asthma, I just thought I had allergies. I was training during the week for the run but it was just getting harder and harder. At the end of the runs I was getting so out of breath and sheets it took me hours to recover and I wasn't able to do much for the rest of the day. It was then I decided to go to the doctors and get dignosed. I keep fit and try to do gentle cardio but it only takes one breath of someone's perfume, car exhaust, smoke, cigarette smoke and I am wheezy and have to stop and rest and then I am done. It is sooooo frustrating!

      Try and do a lengthily 10 minute gentle aerobic warm up indoors to increase your bodies temperature before going for a run. This might help

    Thank you for sharing your knowledge on asthma. I found the recommendation to exhale fully ( to dispel the CO2 buildup very interesting and am going to try that next time i am struggling to recover from asthma symptoms and the related anxiety.

      @@ExerciseForHealth I recently cut way back on bread and wheat products, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in nasal inflammation ( which used to drip into my throat and lungs). I’m starting my third month of reduced bread and wheat products and am off the traditional inhalers for two months now. Just mentioning this because I feel there is a correlation - at least in my case.

    I wanted to do weight loss exercise at home without any instruments, but my asthma is not allowing me to do it. I do a warmup walk for 30 minutes and I'm so done during just warm up because of heavy breathing. Can you recommend me any exercise for weight loss that can also overcome this condition?

    • @ExerciseForHealth
      @ExerciseForHealth  2 года назад +2

      You'll need to do some aerobic exercise and strength based exercise for weight loss (along side a balanced diet of course). If you find that your asthma kicks in during the warm up, reduce the intensity and do it for longer to allow for an increased body temperature which might then in turn help with the breathing. Resistance training will also help without getting so puffed. Good luck

    I have asthma since three years old. I really want to do exercise so bad to lose my weight (i'm girl with 157cm and 85kg).
    I once try HIIT exercise, and tbh my body feels so good, i'm sweating like waterfall even thought i have to pause several times due to out of breath. But please teel me, is HIIT a good everyday exercise for asthma person?

    • @ExerciseForHealth
      @ExerciseForHealth  6 месяцев назад +1

      With asthma, you will know what you can manage. A HIIT training session EVERY day isn't recommended, but on 3 days a week as well as being physically active on the other days would be better.

    I had asthma as a child then it stopped but In recent years i developed sensitivity for smells
    it causes severe coughing that sometimes could last for days! I’m not sure if this case qualifies as an asthma or not!
    + in a recent development I found out I have low iron levels, i’m not anemic but my iron levels are very low and it causes shortness of breath when I’m doing absolutely nothing.
    Now I’m at a point where i need to exercise to lose weight but I’m not sure what kind of exercises i should be doing! pointing out that I’m obese.

      My advice would be to start off gently. Be conservative and then build up gradually. Maybe start with some walking/ gentle cycling/ swimming. If you can get to see a personal trainer in a gym, they may be able to provide you with a structured programme to follow that will help manage both your weight and your breathing. For home exercise, check out the playlist of follow along videos I've done on this channel here: ruclips.net/p/PLf9i8qFtMBBK1VBEA-IlSw7VrXxrvxHUF and I'm doing a very low level chair based one in a couple of weeks, if you find all of these routines difficult.
