Through millennia of war and attrition, fighting thousands of battles, traversing the with and breath of the galaxy, seeing myriads of planets with long extinct civilizations and baring witness to a plethora of unfathomable warp-tainted worlds... Abaddon still had his arms.
I never quite knew what happened to the Sons after the failed assault on Terra, that was a cool little snippet into the fall of one of the Sons of Horus.
@Anzu Wyliei I guess the same way the technologically regressive Inperium hasn't been eclipsed by it's more technologically progressive neighbours yet.
Well except for maybe the nids and the tau...isn't everyone in 40k fighting each other...themselves and different factions of their own kind?...they're all still pretty threatening...infact I don't even think the tyrannids or tau are completely united, isn't there lore for competing hive fleets and rogue tau?
I recently listened to an audio drama of the Sisters of Battle and honestly, it was so shit. So glad there are other narrators like your self to scratch the old school classic 40k feel.
Finished The End and the Death Volume III earlier and was feeling a little deflated after completing every bit of the Heresy, but a bit of ABaDon and the aftermath are a good pick me up. I listened to the John Banks version from Crusade and Other Stories and was very excited to hear yours and was not disappointed. Thank you ❤
Aw I remember now, this was confirming that the sons of Horus didn’t become the black legion, Abbadon made them with other legions in the warp because he wanted them to remember the old ways before Horus gone mad, where legions were not slaves to daemons and they believed in brotherhood
This maybe an older video of yours but by any chance have you done the other two short stories from the talon of Horus limited edition, the wonderworker and chosen of chaos? Big fan of your work keep up the content
I really like this one. Your narration here is crisp af Sometimes you slip into your rough voice while voicing the narrator, but this one, dear sir, is top of the cream
i miss how you used? to introduce the story...ending with Narrated by a border prince... light fun separate.. listen to how you did that just a few books ago.. i thought it was very good.
I really feel bad for American narrator's I'm American but 40k should be narrated by someone with one of the millions of British accents. There's other channels I've looked at I press play and an American accent starts I immediately close I just can't be immersed.

YES!!! Never enough Abaddon. Never. It takes a real man to rock a fabulous top knot.
very true
This was like mixing the Order 66 and the Thanos snap. Even being traitors, this was above tragic.
The War in the Eye... Let them fight, let them bleed dry... Once a Traitor, always a Traitor!
@Anzu Wyliei I guess the same way the technologically regressive Inperium hasn't been eclipsed by it's more technologically progressive neighbours yet.
Death to the traitor, the heretic, and the mutant.
This is why chaos isn’t a threat they’re too busy fighting each other

The pilgrim of hell part of Abbadon’s story is one of the most interesting and criminally unexplored
Good riddance. The Cthonian Failure was just dead weight without their beloved Horus Lupercal.
