- www.insidesimracing.tv presents another sim racing rig review. This time we take a look at the Sim Fix SR-1 Sim Rig that comes to us from Matthew Norcross. THe rig was sent with Shaun Cole in mind so Darin Gangi interviews Shaun about the rig and also gives his opinion. They talk about the Pros and Cons and then finally put it on the revs scale.
Check the SR-1 out on Ebay here:

I think its great that you reviewed this. so someone does not think the are getting more than what they are. nice review guys!
Great, i like this seat.
I would like to Playseat with a vertical pedals, do you know any? Not DIY please :)
Worth it when you get a seat like that! 💪
love all the tamiya
stickers!
R u guys reviewing NASCAR inside line?
Are Obutto going to send you their new R3volution rig for you to review?
Where did you get the seat for $50 from?
I started building my own today.. looks a little different, lol. Now I need to find a decent seat!
Honestly with the way he mounted the support on the right it's like the center console in a LHR car. Also would make it easier to mount a 2x4 / 2x6 so you can mount a shifter right where a shifter would be in a car! Also like the wider stand over the one you guys built. Some of us are a little thick! 😂😂😂
Would you sell a Aftermarket wheel, whiss is stand by the wall?
If you wanted you could get rid of the whole back part were the seat is, you would leave the supports and/or brace(s) with the bottom piece and then you have the ability to use your desk chair, but you may need to raise the wheel mount then (thats as simple as getting 2 new pieces of wood cut, If you buy the kit) Or just do the diy and cut it taller, so then you wouldent have to buy a whole new chair just for the rig, you could use your desk chair (or any you have/use) that you already have, to save some money..... :)
what is that for racing wheel you use?
Pros: Flammable
I would just get some good plans, buy the material locally and then have it cut/put together/finished by myself or by someone who's handy with projects like this.
Whould you sell one of you Aftermarket wheels?
where can you buy a rig like that because I try to look it up on eBay is not there no more do you know anybody else that has prefab Racer X they they could be race rigs they could be metal or wood
what sit is that
I agree, she added a more novice introspective, which I for one certainly appreciated. As well as mentioning some of the finer details with builds. From what I read I don't think her business she went to start did to well, I hope that isn't the case. But if it didn't surely that means she is welcome back? I'd certainly like to see that and I wouldn't think it was a sign of defeat. As I mentioned I think Jessica was an integral part of the show.
Why is such a problem to cut something (6:01) ... Everyone have a saw; what is the big deal ?
Is there a huge market for rig like this? Cause' I can honestly say, I can design and build one at the fraction of the price, looks better and lighter weight...or just supply the bill of materials and assembly doc for a cost.
Hi Guys, I am in the UK, can you give me the plans with sizes, thanks
Cant make up our minds what its called huh? Title says SR-1,video they keep saying CR-1 and on screen in the video (at 1:00) they call it the CS1. Confusing...
nice
9:35 With the looks Shaun has gives, he should have said "Gimme 5 minutes, I'll have a sifter on it BITCHES"! LOL
Still no news about if Logitech will release a new wheel? T500 seems like a good wheel but fixed paddleshifters, small loud fan and pedals wich can´t match the Clubsport from fanatec is a dealbraker for me, and CSW is way too expensive for me.
i was supriced myself as they made one of the other rigs they had to buy the blueprints for
Whats the best way to add gear shift to this unit
you add on for shift
very cheap and a good option.. but can you really say its hard to buy some wood and nail it? its srt not im a banker so i never used my hands ever..
muito bom gostei
Kinda crazy for unfinished, undrilled wood. If the wood was finished (painted, ect) and predrilled for the nuts/bolts/screws yet still leaving the room for customizablity, I'd kinda see the value... but why not just go DIY at this point?
what happened to her?
i've been gone for awhile what happen to jessica?
Not bad... I'm building a custom one for about $50 bucks.
OOOOO lovely
im not catching up on this channel lately, what happened to Jess.
hardly.. she was a good addition to the show, darin and shaun do a great job as it is.
Where do i get a seat like that?
junkyard
I made a dm v3
i already see people playing cod in this
where can i buy this sir, looks rock solid :-)
+Steven G Richardson Looks like it's no longer available
If thiers demand for this product, maybe someone should bring this to market again. Just saying
man you need jess back.. do something on skype
International wanters could probably just buy the lumber locally and copy the design. It looks really simple.
He took them off ebay
Hope Jessica Is doing well its to bad there are so many degrading comments about her. Keep it up enjoy the show.
Nahh. i think i will make my own :)
Thrustmaster T500RS
I think for a proper review, you should really build it as specified in the instructions.
you can buy fold aways for only 100 bucks us , this seams dumb to pay that much for some wood and screws
Detox 2 Yeah, but you can just make a knockoff of it using scrap wood
lol
And it is still fucking expensive. ~100$ for 6 planks of wood and a couple of bolts? Really dude?!
STOP SAYING DIY SO DAMNED much hahahah
this is a stupid product
Only thing is stupid, is you.
It's a hell if a lot better than paying $500 for a metal one with a seat
Emil Svensson emil is right I would build this shit myself Lmfaoooo
ya 30 bucks at the home depot for some timber and a few lag bolts or screws and this thing is done.
If you are going to do DIY then do it because it is fun, do not do it because it is cheap. Everyone I know that does a DIY project ends up chucking it away and buying a real RIG
7/16ths, half inch and 9/16ths.... Jesus, America, convert to the metric system already, what kind of backwards stuff is this
+why post this sry.. its men watching your vids we have 2 hands and a brain and can do this anyday ourself. stick to stuff helping ppl.. wood and screws really?
Would you sell a Aftermarket wheel, whiss is stand by the wall?
