He may have trouble moving around, but he seems to love having fun. He's trying so hard to get those toys!
Maybe if they get him on a different floor, he might progress faster, that wood floor is too slippery.

i think he wont ever be able to walk completely like a regular cat, but that's okay!! He seems to be happy and have a fun time ""running"" around! He can still eat, move around, use the litter box, and play with toys.
As long as he's happy and has a loving family, that's what matters
I just came across this video, I know this was a while ago. I just wanted to say God bless all you wonderful souls. You show that on never giving up on a selfless mission, will give you miracles through the Almighty God. The video is an inspiration to me now, on staying strong and never giving up. So touching and beautiful! Budd doesn't care if he's disabled, doesn't seem like he even "knows he's different." I'm in a wheelchair and some misinformed people seem scared to be around me, like they are worried they might break me if they just talk and act normal. A BIG applause to Budd's caregivers, THANK YOU!!!
Dean T I'm in and out of a wheelchair with CRPS, so I know exactly how this feels. It's so touching to see kitties in kitty walkers, not caring that their different (and neither do other cats).
Miss Spaz It really is touching to see and know there are people that care. In all the years I've volunteered at animal shelters, I've never seen an animal in a walker. And though I hate that it is necessary at times, it's SO great to know some people don't think that just cause someone or something isn't perfect, they are not disposable. I'm in the wheelchair (hopefully only temporarily) cause of MS - I'd love to compare notes someday.

What a beautiful rescue. Animals are so resilient, given enough love and care. His family are remarkable people, and the closing shot of Budd curled with his friend is just adorable.
made me cry, what I love about animals is they never give up or feel embarrassed when they fail. I love this little guy.
So many mixed emotions. I feel so sad for this poor baby, but I'm in awe of its strength. I'm also very happy that there are people who actually care enough to help this sweet kitty live a fuller life. Thank you for that.

Watching this sweet kitty struggle was a little hard to do but his determination was awesome! The patience it took to continue to help the helpless is so admirable. The love and dedication has paid off and I just know he will continue to improve. Thank you dear rescuers!!

Saw virtually the same thing with a wheelchair-bound little boy. At the beginning of the school year he had no muscle control. But two other special needs lads his age began playing with him and became his friends. I saw him at the end of the school year when doing another story on the class. Almost didn’t recognize him but the teacher told me what happened. Needless to say, I was quickly crying. And am again as I write this.
My faith in humanity has been restored. I can love again. thank you!

If you aren't alone, that is. Just try and imagine how that cat would have overcome anything without selfless people who were ready to help a stranger (albeit in cat form) and let him into their life. If you get in trouble and nobody wants to help you, whether you are human or animal you are probably screwed.

I have had three cats with this condition and they don't know they are different. They all were playful, wonderful companions that I miss very much! Seeing Budd make me laugh and cry at the same time.
Makes me cry. Makes me feel ashamed that I let little things overwhelm me and that I let my problems get me down. The termination and perseverance show by the little one and this family make me feel like such a quitter!
Would like to know if he's still alive and how he is doing.

I had a cat named Snowball who was a rescue who had the same thing. She was 2 to 3 years old by the time I adopted her from the Humane Society. She was a joy. Such a sweet cat. She passed away a couple years ago. I miss her dearly. She lived a long, happy life. I would adopt another special needs cat in a heart beat.
Tartlett A you are a lovely kind person if you had a cat with special needs and willing to do it again. The people who can do it are really special like nurses, doctors, paramedics and those who work as Carer’s and in nursing homes. These are jobs that can only be done by people who care you can’t do it for money. U are very special. Gods blessings to you
@@pearlz7235 Iam not a Dr or a nurse ,paramedic I care about everyone I look at this story and I see something that needs immediate help and can not wait soo many times in my life I have had others let me down doctors and nurses included and just some people that are too stupid or chicken "poop" (Iam trying to avoid profanity) to make what they know or should know is the right decision and their thinking that someone else will pick up the helpless little creature is the excuse that pee's me off the most complete ignorance

OMG I cried sooo much for that little kitty. It broke my heart watching him try so hard to just get around. Cat brains have similarities to human brains, but you can't help but Wonder if the kitty sees other cats and thanks why can't I walk like that. His foster parents are so lucky to have someone that loves him enough to care for him. Dam I'm still crying for that little guy.

Our cat Midnight has adult-onset CH (cause unknown). He knows he has some difficulties, and we go out of our way to help him compensate. He's a very happy kitty and knows he's loved - and loves us right back. Cats with CH deserve a life too, and they more than make up for the added responsibility!
This is the best thing I have seen all day! So inspirational, I hope everyone gets a chance just like Budd!

Dear Linda, there was nothing “rude” or “ass backwards “ about your comment. It was straight forward and honest. What is rude and ass backwards is when people refuse to see that this cat is different. Fortunately, some people had the love, time, and patience to take care of him and work with him so he could live with his disability. I’m with u 100%. And to Hell with all of these SJW’s that get their feelings hurt whenever someone states the truth.

I have disabilities. But seeing the strength and effort this little cat does in order to eat or even use a litter box makes me see that anyone can overcome their disabilities or problems in life with determination. Thanks for the video.

OMG! He's so precious! Back in the 70's, I had a friend with an all black cat that was the same way. She had a long happy life after being rescued from an animal shelter. She was very well treated, cared for and loved. Thank you for sharing your fur baby!

God Bless all the people who helped this baby. It's easy to see the love and care he received. Warms this old man's heart, it does.
Great job :) But surely, a less slippery floor would make things even easier for him.
He has a very severe case of CH. I had a CH kitty from 1997 to 2013, my sweet Beuky. Beuky was mildly affected but she always triggered my compassion when she would stumble or stagger into the room to say Hi to me. And she lived to be 16 years old. These cats are very special.

Wonder if Budd would be a good therapy cat for kids who have neurological disorders. Many of them are told they cannot do certain things. Budd probably was looked at by others as a cat who would never have a quality of life that he has turned out to have now. Budd could inspire many others who have problems with movement, balance, and other Neuro disabilities.
Shame on all the people who disliked this; this is adorable shame on all the people who say ew or gross to a cat with a disability or that is different I wish I could take in all the different cats in the world and love them and all the dogs fish snakes even bird that are different to if I were to see someone so ew or weird to a nice animal like this I would straight up slap them in the mouth and say if some one to call you gross or weird because you were like Budd would you be happy would you brush it off no so all you 88+ people who disliked this you should think about what you said. 🐱❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

That is a beautiful foster family to take in this cat and be its hero. At first I was laughing at how cute he was when he would flail his body when he was attacking the toys. It was so funny and cute. But when he was trying to use the litter box, that was upsetting. :-( Poor guy. Here's to a happy and healthy life Buddy!

My little kitty was like that ,it broke my ❤, not beeing able to run like his other siblings, falling always down, unable to hold his head, there where moments when I thought my little" Wobble " would die, but now my little kitty is almost normal.
Always believe and don't give up. ❤
