- An adorable black and white Kitten with a neurological disorder couldn't walk, but relearned how to use his back legs by using a walker every day.

Thumper was rescued out of a yard filled with animals left abandoned and neglected. Thumper would have died for sure, because it was soon discovered, he couldn't walk because of a neurological disorder. His Foster mom, had a walker custom built for him and it immediately improved his walking. Thumper learned to walk and rehabilitated by some therapy and sessions in his walker every day. After a few weeks, he was running. Now he just needs his forever home.

My wife really really wants to adopt this little guy. She has a neurological disorder herself and also is in and out of a wheelchair. She was so amazed when she saw this because she had never seen an animal deal with the same things she deals with every day. Thumper is now a huge inspiration to both of us!
That is absolutely incredible. Your wife (just like this cat) puts the soul in the word soldier. If you don't have any luck with adopting this cat, I hope you look into a shelter and find one that is labeled hopeless. You'd be amazed at how much spirit all animals have. No ad or anything, I am just so passionate about sweet stories like these :) I wish nothing but the best for your wife!

I've adopted two adorable cats "Snowie" & "Queenie". Queenie only has 2 front legs, but she is the love of my life, we do everything together, she is a sweetheart, and I have never felt more loved in my life. Animals with disabilities are so special, they survive on Love, that's all they want!!!! More people need to adopt, these furry friends are true blessings!

It was so sad for him in the beginning watching the other cats playing and he knew he couldn't join in, but the end is truly a miracle! The walker was a great idea, who would of thought he won't even need it one day!? WOW! I'm so happy for him and his owner!

these storys always bring a tear to my eye its just so nice to see animals recover and get better care and if I ever see anyone abusing any animal I would promise u I will beat the crap out of that person and I would be happy about it

What an inspiration and such a trooper who didn't let things keep him down! I'm disabled and in a wheelchair (because of MS) and wow does little Thumper make me smile!! And such wonderful caregivers - THANKS!
We have a little kitten in foster care right now that was born with the same thing. She seems to have ot really bad though, drags her body everywhere, and has trouble keeping her head up. (It bobbles) But volunteer made her a walker and we're working on it. Shes only 5 weeks old, so hopefully she will make progress, this video gives me hope. =)
Jessica Barlow My cat Tabitha has the same problem. When we adopted her, she could barley walk. Now she is able to walk, run, jump and do whatever she wants. She is a force of nature. Trust me, your little kitten will be ok. This is not a problem: this is a condition, a special way of being that will not disadvantege your cat. You'll see :)

I have had many cats I have cared for in my life. I presently have 4 cats again, the latest being another 3-legged kitten I adopted last year. All 4 of my cats are rescues.
Whoever built that wheeled support frame did some good work--very nice improvisation, and great results for the kitten.
God gives Thumper a hope to keep survive.

Yeah, a good god who gives a disease to a kitten. The same god who gives cancer to little children and makes them suffer. Yup, a "good" and "merciful" god.
+GetOffMyBoardREEE, If you're an atheist, you don't have to ruin someone's belief by being nasty. DISEASES, CANCER, ETC. developed/existed because of HUMANS, of how we live, because we're imperfect and dirty. I personally do not believe everything that's written on the bible. Because it's possible that most of them is translated and interpreted by some idiot who does not fully well understand the languages/messages by a supreme being. Everything happens for a reason, things exist for a reason, it's a chain reaction. I do not believe that everything existed by chance, because of some spark/"big bang". If that chance/opportunity missed (the composition/s and timing to start that chance to create a spark/"big bang" was not precise, it would have failed, everything would have failed), nothing would have existed. My chiropractor adjusted my elderly cat's hips for her, and she resumed jumping on chairs and grooming the hard-to-reach places. He'd never adjusted a cat, before, but he said it was pretty much the same as with people.
I amazed how much creative ways you were help these pets!
This is the kind of story that makes me keep believing there's good in the world. Thank you for rescuing those babies, for believing in that kitten and for teaching him how to walk. If I lived there, I would definitely adopt him.

Animals don't know the concept of "feeling sorry for themselves". If they see it's possible, they will go for it! Weakness is death for animal instincts. Their innate desire to live is extraordinary! I pray for just a little bit of that in myself everyday.

This kitty reminds me so much of my kitten Misfit. My little guy had such a severe case of scoliosis his spine blocked his bowels. Sadly, he didn't make it. Although his life was short, he was spoiled until the end. I miss him everyday and wish he could be around today. For the anniversary of this death, I made a tribute video of him on you tube titled "My little misfit" if any one wants to see and read my sweet little boys story.
Thank you Soo much for loving him. I believe one day you will see him again in heaven. Bless you both. Amen.

I love the way the back of the arm chairs are clawed up. It made me happy to see that they had prioritized the cat's needs over having a picture-perfect setting.

walking. You could see that his mind was willing to want to walk and play with the other cats, but his body would not listen,To see him playing and jumping with the other cats is awesome. Made my day.

Recently rescued a CH kitten from a yard. The rescue network jumped 8nto high gear and found a foster vet tech for him. She sent me a video of him making biscuits in his new cat bed. Thank god for good fosters.

If I haven't had handful of cats at home, I would adopt this little guy in a heart beat. Disabled or not. I'm so happy to see that he pulled it through with therapy help him to build up his strength to walk on his own. Thank you for rescuing him and rest of his litter, and put in so much of patience to help him learn how to walk! I'm already in love with this little Thumper guy!
