This might be the last video I expected to be uploaded by Sweetwater. Updated to add: my initial thought was we get Don Carr and Mitch Gallagher jamming guerilla radio or something. That’s all.
Fender is so good. American brand, Mexico factory that makes quality products, American made products are actually affordable! The greatest musicians of all time have used them, they’re massive in Japan, make pedals, have one of the most iconic amps ever, set the standard for electric guitars, have allowed people like Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, and many others to escape poverty, and more importantly made us all happy!
@@Facu_Roldan Like almost the entire rock scene, look at all the big festivals, both the elite bands and the new wave are almost entirely armed with fender, occasionally a gibson and rarely some other brand.
@@humiut2041 that's true, still doesn't make fender (or Gibson) better than the other brands. A big chunk of what you pay when you buy those big brands is the brand logo on the headstock.
@@Facu_Roldan Yes, but what I mean is that Fender is the brand of the idols of yesterday and today, so it is natural that it will continue to dominate in the minds of the majority of guitarists, in fact it seems that now are its most golden years, and we are not only talking about guitars, but also about amplifiers and basses, where their presence is even more dominant.
You should try MIJ Fenders. The quality is superb for the money. I have a 1980’s USA strat, 2016 MIJ stat and USA vintage ii 61 strat (best guitar I have - it is phenomenal). I have Squier and MIM fenders (strats, teles and a jazzmaster). All good with only minor tweaks. There are many brands under 1k that make really great guitars. Go to any music store and play something different. It may surprise you. I tried a silver sky se. Really good strat copy 😂 but sounds and plays differently to fender. Not my cup of tea but had great fun with it. Pickups are good though!
Talented players, not the greatest rendition of the music. I like fender guitars, not impressed with prices. You can make the same music with an import guitar. Not about the instruments, but more about the musician.
@@jrzellers Yup. Truth hurts doesn’t it. I’d buy a used custom shop guitar for that much money. At least you have something other than off the wall guitar

@@marswillrule2431 Thank god it's not!
@@marswillrule2431 yup Fenders are in the hands of actual musicians while Gibsons hang on the walls of doctors/lawyers
Great vid here, really like this style!
Sweet way to demo these
That’s my boy Keith Coy on bass!
🤘Rock on guys!
Isn't the bass just a Meteora that used to be like $750-800? 🤔
