I love each one of these rescues but my favorite scenes are when they meet the other orphans and how they embrace and hug the newbies with their trunks. They are truly emphatic babies. ❤🐘

Such a resilient infant, able to survive the river in flood without getting water in her lungs! My heart hurts that Lemeki’s mother didn’t get to have much time with her....rivers in flood are so unpredictable, and some kind of misjudgment happened. I’m sure her mother was heartbroken! I’m so glad Lemeki gave everyone at the Trust some joy in the very dark days after Dame Daphne’s death, blessings to all of you!

I'm so sorry that Mrs Daphne passed while saving the baby elephant. She is in my view a rarity in the human species. She cannot be replaced , not sure hat deep compassion or knowledge of other species. I salute her and will always remember her.

I really want to thank this organization as an elephant hunter this is goin to be some amazing hunting in 5-10 years. This organization is going to contribute heavily to what will surely be a huge overpopulation issue when these cute babies turn into massive adults destroying everything in sight. All baby pictures and sad music aside , that's the reality folks, the government won't have a choice. They of course use these babies to prey on all you completely naive Americans to keep those checks Rollin in . You all usually come as tourists and fly home completely far removed from the conflict and unaware at the dark destructive side of these creatures. Nobody local supports this cause. Oh well see you at the next cull!! Bye!!!
