Sileita the little special matriarch is my adopted baby and I know for a fact that she was found by her mother's lifeless body, I was impressed and decided to adopt her. I cannot imagine the desperation any baby elephant might feel next to their mother's lifeless bodies
This was a joy to watch! 💓🐘💓 Head keeper Benjamin is such a loving, kind man. ( they all are but Benjamin is so serene and calm ) Edwin also seems so friendly. I was hoping to see the little ones at Kaluku but I suppose they’re too small to have a camera crew around.
If my memory and heart serve me well, little Mokogodo has tragically passed away. Little ellies are so vulnerable, especially during teething time. A huge thank you to everyone at SWT for your crucial work. The entire planet should be grateful to you.
Mokogodo died because she had a malabsorption issue. If you look at videos of her you would realise that she constantly looks bloated. RIP our beautiful angel 👼 ❤
I adopted Mokogodo as my 8th foster elie. It broke my heart that recently she died of natural causes so young. Baby elephants are extremely fragile. Sheldrick Wildlife Trust works very hard to help these orphans grow to maturity and when the orphans are ready, they join a passing herd. Thankfully, SWT allowed me to adopt another orphan and I chose 1 year old Korbessa. Like Mokogodo, she is a very sweet girl. I love getting the videos very frequently so I can see how my adopted babies are doing.
@@Flowstream_docu Stunning! Thank you. I knew about the wild bull visited to get help with his poison arrow wound but not about the wild mama bringing her baby for help. Thank you.
Sheldrick need also goats to get goat milk, cause not all babys can take formular. Baby need passion, cause their mouth is no pot. They need to have the chance to swallow. The carer know this. They make a great job. Alsoto reunite the babys, if they dont need nomore the help of humans. Good luck sheldrick ❤
Very interesting and very informative
❤
These elephant keepers are special people. I hope they feel appreciated, even famous, because the whole world is watching them and their charges👏

@@cameronhowe1110 Thank you for the precision. Now, the worry is for little Raha the rhino, my first adoptee.
