      Good work fella's, scumbags like this should be locked up and banned for life catching anything. Crazy if these are the ones you catch, imagine how many people around world are.
      Just question, if some crays and papua are still alive put them back in water straight away. You take to long.

    Need to set a number over which it becomes mandatory to confiscate all equipment. This many undersized and over the daily limit should come with an automatic forfeit of all equipment.

      Before Pouawa became a M. reserve while free diving that area I saw confiscated crays tossed back into the water on an outgoing tide to later be seen washed ashore in tiny waves barely alive, what I'm saying here is why were they not tossed back into the sea by then MAF in deeper water when it was obvious to all that saw this that day knowing the crays would soon be high and dry to fry.

  • @jarredtremain4644
    @jarredtremain4644 Год назад +2

    Fines too low. That should be jail and banned from fishing for life. People might start taking more serious then. It's funny how these scum always take cheap cars and boats when they're breaking laws. They don't care about loosing them because they're worth nothing and if they go a couple times breaking law it pays for them so they're not really loosing anything apart from catch. Which they don't care because they'll come back the next day.

  • @user-fz7qr2iv6o

      As if you have done a good job, the fisheries have been raped by large scale operations for the past five decades and not by the Maori. And as far as I know without the coastal tribes forcing change in regulations it would still be going on. And the coastal tribes are at the for front of seabed restoration. Wtf have you done?

    How can you catch poachers 4 or 5 times? Their boat and gear should be seized the first time. Obviously it is lucrative to ignore the penalties and keep doing it. What a waste of resources. Enforce or get off the pot!
