I found you because I was curious about Italian makeup looks as well and I loved your comparison video of the 2 countries. Forgive me for saying this but I appreciate a slightly more mature woman posting videos. The flowers 💐 look so beautiful! I agree with you that the easiest way to do a daytime to nighttime look is changing your lip color. 💄 Or I also like to maybe add an extra coat of mascara and a shimmer eyeshadow such as Urban Decay’s Space Cowboy(It’s a single eye shadow). The sunscreens I used a lot throughout the years are from Biotherm (the shade with no color) and the K-Beauty brand Holika Holika’s physical sunscreen. I cant decide which look I like more. Both are so simple and elegant and really let the beauty of your skin show through . Ive been trying to decide about buying the water fresh blush from Chanel but I think this has convinced me.
Hi lovely :) There are a lot of mixed reviews on the Water Fresh blush but I love it. The most important tip that I can give you is to choose a shade that will fit your skin tone well. If it's too dark you will probably not like it. And when you start applying it make sure to break the pigment of the blush on the back of your hand first and then apply it on the cheeks. You asked which inexpensive products we like? I like to mix inexpensive Revlon Nude Attitude lipstick with more expensive rosy toned lipstick to create a nice nude with a bit of color. I like Carmex lip balm which is great to put on at night.
Angela, per your question about sunscreen. I am a big fan of the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench moisturizer with SPF 45. It provides great hydration, layers well with other skin care products and has no white cast. Most important it doesn’t have that suffocating feeling many SPF products have. It is breathable! No pilling or issues applying makeup on top.

When you have a chance check out Lancome #493 Nuit Parisienne et #264 Peut être. I know everyone can find those shades in a different brand but it is bewitching energy when your lipstick' shade had a name in unisson with the occasion.

French brands: I have a lot to try but some brands that I like are L'OCCITANE, Couleur Caramel, Caudalie have some good products too. A while ago I used to have a moisturizer from Les Petits Prödiges and this one was good too. I can't remember which one. But I definitely want to try more from the brand. I have been using SPF from a Spanish company called Isdin -- recommended by my California dermatologist. Their vitamin C ampoules are also amazing.
