Those instructions you dismissed ironically stated that you need to plug in your steam deck to a power outlet before you turn it on for the first time. Maybe you should go ahead and give me that steam deck since you "shouldn't be using electronics" ;)
Just a shame that i have to wait possibly until 2023 before i will be able to get one (and it doesn’t help that i only found out about the steam deck several days after it had been announced) Although being as i am currently saving up for something else (which has nothing to do with games, but it is quite expensive, hint: apple product), maybe having to wait isn’t so bad, i might even end up getting that other thing before i get the steam deck, depending on how long i end up having to wait
@@dstreet3818 not just nintendo game, other native game i think need to tune from time to time too like PC players do, im always a PS home console guy so i like plug and play experience, i only interested to play nintendo sport and their 51 board games, i play mostly 3rd party game, just thought their joycon gyro experience will be unmatch even the Steam deck, i not sure yet, my future is uncertain, i hope to move to other country even tho i dont have the money now, so maybe a handheld make more sense than a ps5, i want to play Death Stranding tho

Just got my steam deck today. Can't wait to use it. I got 256 gig unit
Looks badass. Would love to hear a full review in the future.

Why are u buying an apple product
Why you steam deck don't have security tag?
What do you think so far ? And what audience you recommend it for ? Like me having switch, Xbox series x ps5 do I really need it ?
Its amazing so far, this is the best device you can get if you want to get into PC gaming but don't want to deal with the pains of a computer.
Looks like some pretty good backlight bleed on your unit. It’s a shame most of them seem to have it.
Honestly I haven't noticed it. Then again its not like I look at dark pictures often with it.
Any reason to still pick a Switch now?
Only if want to play Nintendo's exclusives with no hassel. Steam Deck can emulate it but of course you have to do some research on it.

strange question but what were the taxes like when you received your order email?
it was like $30-$35 of tax for me
@@dstreet3818 thank you!, that's a tremendous help I got the 64 gig model. I was trying to calculate how much the grand total would be.
@@dstreet3818 I also had another question Was shipping included or did you have to pay for shipping?
@@ShinetoZeroX I think shipping was included with it. The total ended up being like $683
