Henry isn’t old; the developers said that facial technology has improved a lot over the past seven years, capturing details that weren't possible in KCD1. That's why he might look older, but it's actually just more realistic.
Henry was clearly intentionally made to look more *matured* snd not like a scrawny kid anymore. Like they said, they made KCD 2 like, "how it was supposed to be in the beginning." I played the KCD 1 Alpha and Beta as an early Kickstarter backer, and 'Henry' looked like a hardy, grown man. Even while other characters like Captain Robard were already fully implemented with his voice and likeness. Your point isn't necessarily wrong, but the premise is, as Henry was intentionally made to look younger late into development once they realized they couldn't fit Henry's entire story into one game! It just makes sense!
because the great highland pipes of scotland are probably the best known, it is understandable you would get a "scottish' vibe from this- however, bagpipes existed all over europe and the near east as far back as the ancients.. The bagpipe(s) is an extremely old instrument; someone standing at the side of a wetland once blew into a reed and realized it could make a steady buzzing sound- it doesn't take a big jump to try and incorporate that reed into a pipe of some sort. Attach that to a fashioned leather bag for a steady supply of air and voila.. From the highlands of Scotland to the deserts of Babylon, these instruments were easy-ish to make and were therefore a popular way to make some noise back then
The fact that Warhorse took the "I feel quite hungry" meme and turned it into a battlecry is the next level of epic :D 50:24 "It hurts hurts hurts." I don't blame him, after he swung by his neck. Can't wait to play this! If there's one former companion I'd love to recruit, it's gotta be Father Godwin! ;)
I love the new battle-bunny with the ears and the way he points to the side at 54:36 indicating: get out of here. Shall we call him Sir Rabbitzig? Luke Dale (Hans Capon) sounded great as a narrator. From what I heard we start off with Pebbles again. Pretty sure calling the Alchemist 'Pinkman' was a Breaking Bad reference but I didn't think he was cooking crystal meth. And the Polish guy: 'Why do you talk to me like I'm an idiot?' and Henry replies: 'Yes, Henry...I'm Henry' is so funny. And Henry's hilarious battle-cry: I feel quite hungry! 😄 I'm really looking forward to this game, can hardly wait, great they kept the same style but upgraded the graphics. Hope the PC specs are not too high. Looks amazing. Thanks Audrey!
"I like that boy already" was probably said by Hynek "Dry Devil" Moravian noble from later Very powerfull house of Kunštát. He was rough mercenary. When was Wenceslaus 4 captured in Wienna Dry Devil let several raids to Austria.
35:27 One important bit here - there are outfits (saved clothing / equipment sets)! That will help so much. Also right after that, Henry throws a stone to distract the first bandit.
It's confirmed that you can choose your henry presets at start of the game... Like you will be asked what you think about Theresa... If you didn't care about her much or you're being a bastard you can say "I don't know her much" for preset or if you dated her and want to stay loyal you can say "she's my sweetheart"... Things like these...
it is margrave Jobst, he is wearing margarivite crown which is very unique and cool. Ussually you in media you only see king crowns but these ducal crowns were weared by important dukes, margraves and princes.
24:16 That is a real medieval longsword move called "Zwerchhau". You rest your thumb on the flat side of your blade and cross your arms while holding them high causing the sword to whip around at head height aiming to slash the head of your opponent. I'm not very versed in hema (historical medieval martial arts) so the terminology might be wrong or explained poorly.

08:16 those are probably bagpipes (?) which I also associate with scottland in our times but after thinking about it I remembered that bagpipes were used a lot in medieval music as well, maybe all over europe. I was quite confused when the guy spoke polish as well, but people taught me that Henry usually speaks Czech and especially in the 15 century Czech and Polish were so similar that they could kinda understand each other (they are neighboring countries and slavs). But even as a German I was quite confused because we only hear him speak the translated English and understand no polish/czech. The Trader also spoke German with you. It's still interesting because the Holy Roman Empire was a massive country (maybe rather an alliance?) with a lot of different cultures in it (almost a mini EU, from the Netherlands, to half of Italy to Czech/Bohemia), kinda crazy that it lasted a 1000 years until it fell apart in 1806 which later resulted in ugly (world) wars especially between Germany and France until the EU brought peace again - EU as we know it today is maybe like 30 years old :D
Bagpipes are relatively new to Scotland. The origins of bagpipes actually are in classical antiquity from a certain place in Greece I can’t recall the name of, the Italian Peninsula, and Asia minor.
Germans,Poles and other countries was in Kuttenberg also its germans name for Kutná Hora they name our cities by their language my hometown (Třebechovice p.O.) is called Hohenbruck so its their term ours is more slavic and people from other countries cant spell it so they prefer german term with is also almost similar to English.

Well Tom Mckay is over 40...
I heard them saying that Tom McKay just got 7 years older while Luke Dale stayed exactly the same xD That's why he looks and sounds a bit different.

Yes but they shouldn’t overdo it and keep these things funny little easter eggs. But it was funny.
