I'm from Czech and polish is slavic launguage same as czech, so yes we understand maybe about half of the words that are very similar to ours. Can't wait to play it too.
Hello, I'm Czech, yes, I understand 90% of Polish, because I'm from the north of Bohemia, and they're my neighbors, I like your reaction to KCD2, I'm just as excited as you :)
The conversation between the Pole and Henry is very funny. It looks like Henry doesn't even understand Polish. That's why the Pole asks him why he talks to him like an idiot. And Polish swear words??? Very entertaining. It really is a lot of fun with Czech. I live not far from Poland and also not far from Trosky Castle. I'm really looking forward to it.
He's telling him that he talks to him like TO an idiot. It will be much funnier in czech version, because that is the conversation between Polish and Czech person. One is explaining something to the other thinking he doesn't understand, but he more or less does. Czech: Jsem Jindřich, Jindřich, chápeš? Polish: Dlaczego mówisz do mnie jak do głupca? Czech: Jo, Jindřich, to jsem já.
From my experience every czech I met got to understand polish almost perfectly in just few weeks of listening, I spend lot of time with czechs and still have hard time to understand enough. So i think it goes one way more than other. Btw, praise Lord Hans Capon for recommending your channel, he was 100% right about you.
I'm Czech and I understand most of what he says. And I think our languages were even more similar in the Middle Ages than they are today. I assume that the conversation should look different in Czech, they could rather argue about the meaning of one word than not completely understand each other.
As a Czech here I can confirm we can understand 1/3 of what the Poles say straight away and if both parties decide to to an agreenment and slow down with their speech we can comunicate quite well despite the fact there are some minor differences in our languages. However never EVER call Czech and Polish people "eastern european" we are "CENTRAL EUROPE" every time somebody call us "eastern" I cringe so hard.
I don't know about the Czech language, but, for example, the owner of the Ukrainian language and the Polish language understand each other in the context. but without context they don't understand anything. I think the same with Czech and Polish,
A Pole and a Czech will understand each other sooner without context than with a Ukrainian or a Russian, most Czech words occur or have occurred in Polish, so it is not so difficult for us to communicate, only some words are the same, but they mean something completely different, which makes it seem to us that we are somehow very different. If a Czech has had some contact with the Polish language, and a Pole with the Czech language, he will have no problem communicating It is enough to skillfully choose words instead of complex ones and replace them with simpler ones. Pozdrawiam z Polski :)
Cozying up with this marvel of a game in februrary with the fireplacing crackling behind my back is going to be pure bliss. I live in a 200+ year old thatch-roofed farmhouse in an almost 1000 yr old small village very akin to the ones in the game (rural Hungary) Talk about ultimate immersion for this adventure hah :D

I also just love that attention to detail that they are fusing into the game!! I'm sooo hyped for this game!! AND to continue longing (and drooling) for it together with you and Sexybiscuit :D
Yes, czech - polish we have quite a similar languages and many of words we undestand to each other as many here said. What can be interesting for you is fact that some of creators of KCD2 (Warhorse studios) are friends with some creators from CD Project Red (Witcher´s, Cyberpunk 2077 ...) and this polish talking guy (which should be one of the side character in game for some quests) is like friendly "thanks" to our polish neighbors. Definitely there will be plenty of easter eggs to Witcher series for same reason 😄 PS: When someone swears in Polish, it sounds funny and rough at the same time to us Czechs. And we love it and i think many polish people will see it the same in game 🙂
It's gonna be fun most people don't know about this yet but you are starting game first as Father Godwin trying to search for Henry and then you switch to Henry.
The Atari 2600 joystick was the most durable and practical joystick ever made. Of course I am referring to your tee. I cut my teeth gaming in the seventies and eighties.
The Pole speaks very vulgarly in this scene. but he's a scoundrel and a mercenary, so I guess I don't feel offended. I'm looking forward to the release of KCD2 🤩🤩🤩
Yes, this conversation would indeed make much more sense if it were in Czech. Moreover, it would also be much funnier. If you plan to play KCD 2, I recommend at least considering the Czech dubbing. It will provide a more natural and realistic experience. It also fits very well with the game's setting, given that it takes place in the Czech lands. In the end, it will definitely be up to you. 😊 Personally, I can't wait for the game to come out. I'm saying this as a Czech. 😄
Henry kills a guy with a sword quite brutally .. Lina : Ooooooh let's gooooo 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ----- Anyway ...i'am so hyped ..only thing ..the lower UI is quite fatty for me , i don't know .. KCD I UI was good , they didn't have to change it i think . But guess we will use to it right ? . Btw ... if you want obtain special mission , you have to sadly pre-order one of game editions .. which is kinda sad , and i think this was not Dan Vavra's decision .. there are : Standard edition - Gold Edition and Expansion pass fot the Standard edition .. and if you want to obtain everything , all DLCs , special items , mission , you have to pre-order GOLD edition 80 EUR on steam :) :) so , yeah .. better take some extra shifts at work .
I dunno those things get me super excited in videogames XD Also I know quite a lot of people are upset about the healthbar, but in all honestly, I feel like you'll stop noticing it after 20 minutes in the game. It's on par with the rest of the new UI, which I honestly quite like.
What a real pleasure, to see that a woman loves this game that was highly classified by some people, but in medieval RPG, it is one of the best I have played, along perhaps with gredfall (although the latter is more fantasy in its lore but it fulfills with the medieval in part) greetings and new follow :)
Polish and Czech languages were close to each other in the past, but nowdays they have more differences. Probably we have more common things with Slovaks in the matter of language. Also Polish people make fun of Czech languege and vice versa :D We are like Canada and USA in that matter XD That Polish lines were funny as hell with a lot of curse words. Need to play KD I, because it looks like kinda fun game XD
Hi, yes polish is quite simular like Czech more than Russian less than Slovak what is almost same 99% understandable... same like Germany and English ( Hund Hound, Hause House, Erde Earth ) and yes every Slavic Language is 20-40 % understandable when you concentrate ... like other languages from same language family Germanic Romanic ;)
As others say, I'm Czech. Maybe they are dialects of Polish, once in Slovakia I spoke to some polish people and at first it felt weird that I can't understand Slovaks well. It turned out they are from Krakow. About ten years ago I visited Baltic coast and it was hard. Mutual understanding is possible, but it needs will to communicate at both sides and rephrase sentence twice or three times. Some worlds some similar or very same, but their meaning shifted over the time which makes it worse (girl vs b*tch, search vs f*ck - ancient meaning is to move back and forth, ...) Understanding Slovak is easy, understanding Serbinan/Croatian barely possible, rest is ... I can catch some words, but not enough. I never learned Russian, it can help.
It's so nice to see someone who loves these games as much as I do, I saw myself in the emotions you expressed and also to see that a girl appreciates games like this, in the terrible but adventurous Middle Ages! Many of those I know only think about handbags, shoes and makeup! I still play the first one today, and if only it still had stories and challenges to face I wouldn't stop playing it! Waiting February will be really hard.. I hope to see you again while you make a video of yourself playing it! I buy it today on Steam, even though I promised myself that I would never pre-order any more games, but I found the game I loved in this gameplay, so I decided to get it and support the work of Warhorse! I always advise against pre-purchasing or buying to d1, but I love this game too much, so don't do it unless you're as passionate as I am and wait until after the release to see if the game is for you. Only don't expect Souls-style combat, God forbid! Many have criticized the combat system of the first game, just because they are used to Souls, luckily those at Warhorse have conceived a satisfying and fun progression and simulation system, not mechanical and repetitive (dodge and hit) like in to the Souls! Bye and see you!

As Czech I can understand Polish from 60-70%. Not every word but at least the meaning of the sentence. I also had Polish girlfriend so I can understand maybe even better than any other Czechs. But from what I know Czechs usualy understand Polish well but not vice versa. Poles don't understand Czech that much. Czechs have an advantage in this I think because "old Czech" sounded and looked (in written form) more like todays Polish. Until some reforms in diacritics and grammar were made and Czech was much more "modernised". In general Czech and Polish used to be very similar in the past until they went by their own ways. Czech lands became part of Austria so the language took many words from German. Poland on the other hand was part of Russian empire and some parts were part of Prussia.
I am so very grateful for people like yourself taking their time to write those comments and educate me on the matter! Thank you! It truly means the world ❤to
I live on the Czech-Polish border, so I understand Polish and, as you said, it will be really different with the Czech dubbing, since the Czech and Polish languages are of Slavic origin and have a lot of similar meanings.
Czech, Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Hungary and Austria are located in Central Europe. Everything on left of them is East Europe and on right West Europe. Belive me you don't want to be in Poland and say to people on street "East European country", especially to old people who lived trough PRL (Polish People's Republic) times, as they doesn't want any teritorial connection with countries that were part of "Soviet Block".
First time this month I've set my alarm clock. It was also the first day of the month I smiled for 20 minutes straight. This video is my second viewing of this gameplay. It's funny how we had the same facial expressions during gameplay. Even though it felt like the shortest 20 minutes of my life. I have never looked forward to next year as much as I do today... Btw, yes, I am Czech and I understood about 90 percent of what the Pole said.
Beauty, really beautiful. I can't wait to play this game. It looks amazing and there will obviously be a lot of options. Oh god, I can't wait to break out of jail. Otherwise, yes, there is no problem for Czechs and Poles to understand each other. Sometimes it takes a while to listen before one begins to catch the other's words. But with a little listening, it is possible. I watched Polish TV for a while, and over time I was able to understand the vast majority of what they were saying. Otherwise the video was great, you are amazing and I thank you.
I cant wait for this game, but Ill have to wait way longer than the release date. I will be in eastern Europe for 6 months, working and no distraction like video game for that time being, instead I will visit as much as I can real world! I cant wait for that too. I love your enthusiasm for the game! I like the new UI too, lots more colors, but its not jaring either, helps for the stats for sure.

25:00 glad i'm not the only one who was sent away by that war cry 😂
Still laughing here :D
your enthusiasm is really infectious, i’m very glad i found your channel!! glad someone else is as excited for KCD2 as i am :)
As a czech guy, I can understand about 60-70% of the polish spoken here.
That warcry though I"M FEELING QUITE HUNGRYYYY lmfao
If you turn on the subtitles, you can read what the pole is saying. It's crazy
Oh crap, that dude is hilarious! Wonder if the game's gonna have an option for subtitles so that I can understand his damned gibberish.
Yes, I watched it with subs afterwards and died from laughter. He's a maniac
Having to wait all this time til its released is just cruelty, this is going to be the longest 5 months of my life. subbed, great reaction video.
@@TwoCombsHolmes hopefully 5 months of more content from Warhorse to keep us excited :) thank you for watching and being here!
Hello, I'm Czech, yes, I understand 90% of Polish, because I'm from the north of Bohemia, and they're my neighbors, I like your reaction to KCD2, I'm just as excited as you :)
Yay! Welcome to the excitement club!
26:18 Yea, beside Slovak language, Polish is next language we can pretty much understand, but it's very subtle.
Please enjoy the game!
I don't understand why people complain about the UI, it looks great and I love the rabbits under the compass! 😆
Yes, I love it as well! The rabbit adds such a nice touch imo
The game looks so good that people can't find anything else to complain about 🤣
Henry is such a wholesome chap, for a murderer of hundreds.
You are my platonic love!! 😊 Never seen someone so adorable and evil at the same time. 😅 Thanks for your videos.
Thank you for being here and watching them! Much love right back at you
I'm Czech and I understand most of what he says.
Just love your face of glee

"Henry the turnip digger!" - Hans KCD 1, now that became true lmao, love the reaction!
When Henry is bored he braids his horse's hair.
That's why horses in KCD are so beautiful 🐴+ ✨=🦄
Cozying up with this marvel of a game in februrary with the fireplacing crackling behind my back is going to be pure bliss.
I live in a 200+ year old thatch-roofed farmhouse in an almost 1000 yr old small village very akin to the ones in the game (rural Hungary)
Talk about ultimate immersion for this adventure hah :D
Praise Vavra! Your reaction is like an exaggerated version of my reaction
ahahaha happy to have matched it!
Perfect video to watch right after waking up :D I love that they kept the typical KCD vibes. And the fighting looks even more dynamic. And how the world reacts to your actions.. and random encounters.. and and and :D Fuck, I cant wait to play this game.. NOOOOW!! You knew to take off the armor to be sneaky, you are a true KCD player :D and your reaction always gives me a smile. It gave me a positive start to the day. I have more than enough excitement to share, when it comes to KCD, haha.
Thank you for your videos and for being you! ❤
Amazing to see this!!! I hope you understand how much joy and happiness you are spreading sweet Lina! And I love how you are noticing the small details like the shadow from the sword handle casting a shadow from the small candle on the table back on his stomach! I also just love that attention to detail that they are fusing into the game!! I'm sooo hyped for this game!! AND to continue longing (and drooling) for it together with you and Sexybiscuit :D
You are such a kind soul, thank you for saying all those things. Smiling my widest smile reading this comment!
Greetings from Czechia. I understand 80% of worlds, just a few words did not know. But with no problems understand meanings.
Definitely there will be plenty of easter eggs to Witcher series for same reason 😄
PS: When someone swears in Polish, it sounds funny and rough at the same time to us Czechs. And we love it and i think many polish people will see it the same in game 🙂
I love this when gamedevs leave a secret handshake for other gamedevs in their games 🥹 this industry is truly the bestest
90% of Czechs understand Polish and Poles understand czech.
I from Poland, before this showcase, they bought me and now I feel so proud that I will play this game on the next year 😂❤❤
Greetings from Poland !❤
Hello to you!
Im from Czech republic and yes, we do understand a lot of polish words, they’re very similiar languages
I love yr enthusiasm about this game! Yes polish is kinda close to czech, but we undestand like not even half or just the cuss words xd
It's gonna be fun most people don't know about this yet but you are starting game first as Father Godwin trying to search for Henry and then you switch to Henry.
I would guess it's first a prologue as Henry, then Godwin, and then back to Henry.
This is going to be hilarious
Your laughter, your joy, and your excitement are absolutely contagious😂
I was bummed at first about the delay but now im just more excited because theyll have so much more time to polish and perfect the game ❤
Big yes!
The Atari 2600 joystick was the most durable and practical joystick ever made. Of course I am referring to your tee. I cut my teeth gaming in the seventies and eighties.
My favorite part? That's easy...
"I FEEL QUITE HUNGRY!"
The best battle cry ever. “I feel quite hungry!” 😮💨
Personally, I can't wait for the game to come out. I'm saying this as a Czech.
😄
Henry kills a guy with a sword quite brutally ..
Lina : Ooooooh let's gooooo 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Anyway ...i'am so hyped ..only thing ..the lower UI is quite fatty for me , i don't know ..
I dunno those things get me super excited in videogames XD
Also I know quite a lot of people are upset about the healthbar, but in all honestly, I feel like you'll stop noticing it after 20 minutes in the game.
Only 174 more days to wait. /cry
Omg are we counting now? It’s on! 😁
15:00 Come on, Lina. That German was flawless!
@@funnyml3356 hahaha vielen Dank ❤️
Hi, yes polish is quite simular like Czech more than Russian less than Slovak what is almost same 99% understandable... same like Germany and English ( Hund Hound, Hause House, Erde Earth ) and yes every Slavic Language is 20-40 % understandable when you concentrate ... like other languages from same language family Germanic Romanic ;)
The only thing I don't like is how Henry looks much more physically matured, yet no time has gone by...
Hans Capon playing as Henry 🤣
As others say, I'm Czech. Maybe they are dialects of Polish, once in Slovakia I spoke to some polish people and at first it felt weird that I can't understand Slovaks well. It turned out they are from Krakow. About ten years ago I visited Baltic coast and it was hard. Mutual understanding is possible, but it needs will to communicate at both sides and rephrase sentence twice or three times. Some worlds some similar or very same, but their meaning shifted over the time which makes it worse (girl vs b*tch, search vs f*ck - ancient meaning is to move back and forth, ...)
Understanding Slovak is easy, understanding Serbinan/Croatian barely possible, rest is ... I can catch some words, but not enough. I never learned Russian, it can help.
like actually though...MY SOUL. i love everything about this... .
I FEEeel QUite HUNGRY!!
its such a nice feature for there to be a slider to change your clothes for different situations.
@@artigliooscurodarkclaw4862 thank you for your comment, I super appreciate it :) congrats on your preorder and I sincerely hope that the final released game lives up to your every expectation and brings you tons of joy. I'm from the Czech Republic and tbh, apart from a few curse words, I can't understand Polish at all :D maybe when it's spoken reaaally slowly, I can pick up a few words, but when it's spoken at full speed, I'm lost
Go on Henry Lad.

I just watched this video, and what a joy to watch your reactions to it!
This game is gonna be just AWESOME!
Now, pardon me...i think i'll watch this video again. I seem to be quite...smitten! 🤓🥰🇳🇴🥰🤓
Thank you! It truly means the world ❤to
I live on the Czech-Polish border, so I understand Polish and, as you said, it will be really different with the Czech dubbing, since the Czech and Polish languages are of Slavic origin and have a lot of similar meanings.
i can assure u, in poland it will be game of the decade XD
I am so happy you had the reason to smile for those 20 minutes! Means that when the game comes out there will be many hours of joy for you 🥰

Ofc as Czechs we understood what the Pole was saying just with a lot of laughter which Poles have too when hearing us speak, also it is kinda funny cuz sometimes the words are the same but mean completely different things so we could agree upon something both think that we understood each other and then wonder what the hell is the other one doing,
