I would've loved to see each painting myself. It's a shame they dont somehow do that for us...
I agree- I would love to get a better look at them!
Totally agree, previous series show each painting with critic, and had artist name visible with both painting and individual interviews, I really missed these things this season.
If I was a contestant, I would definitely use ear plugs to drown out the MC and concentrate.
I came across Milan Art on RUclips and I have flowed this series and watched your individual casts. I am about to mention a critique in a positive way. All the judges and the judges you brought in for the redemption challenge in this episode are connected either through your family or your courses and competitions. I would ask that if you are going to judge these artists bring in people that are seperate from your teachings that bring their expertise to the table as well. I understand what you are doing, in this stage of your business going global as you are, you need other experts now to further credibility, otherwise it's just what you think and I insular.
I am disappointed we couldn’t see all the paintings when they were finished. We only saw a glimpse of a few of them. Such a disappointment
They are all colour blind cant see green
finally they get shelter - seeing them fry in the sun and bake under small strands of shade was hard to watch!
And… Sometimes with no toilet I heard katerina say
yes Not really impressed with them having to paint in those situations is not right to make them suffer , having to paint in only so many hours is enough .
True. I didn’t like it either.
Again, poor editing in that the work of the artist wasn’t shown each time you interviewed them. And there was no showing of the works at the end. Just a bunch of judges standing in the way. There should be a detailed opportunity to look at each work-after all this is what the show is about. Throughout the episodes, when the artists were called up for potential elimination, the piece of each artist should be shown with the artist.
And the before works were never even shown to us or to the judges. The prior works should've been side by side to compare.
Wow. That really felt like redemption. Such beautiful art, great show production, meaningful insights by judges. What a great show!
I love the extra judges. That was the only bit that really made me struggle with the show. I think this show could really be lifted up by having one judge for each theme who is maybe specialised in the field at hand?
That is an excellent idea!
Please just let the girl's paint! I couldn't paint with that distraction. Unless I had earplugs or Music to drown it out.
Listening to all of these women share their story it is clear that they have all won some big challenges within themselves that they will take forward into their lives. To me this is the biggest win of them all. Art is subjective, and we are drawn to paintings that appeal to our own inner story. While the judges made their choice, from the beginning Tanya Johnson's painting really drew me in powerfully, and I also loved Naomi's. Either one I would hang in my own home. Each work was powerful in its own way, and it has been an interesting process seeing each artist's journey and hear about their evolution. This competition took place a couple of years ago, and I am sure that what they learned has moved forward with them and impacted their lives. Looking forward to the finale!
❤ :) thanks. I appreciate your feedback.
@@TanyaJohnstonArt LOVE LOVE LOVE that painting. From the very first moment I saw it on screen. I wish they had shown more of it. The colours, the figure, the partly visible face and part not so clear. It just really spoke to me!
Ritika’s was amazing!
I agree to me she was by far the winner of that round.
@@amronronnoc742 100% agree!
I would have chosen Tanya Johnston as the winner, as her piece was not only very well done, her white on white technique is super hard to pull off and her painting was spiritual, conveyed a sense of becoming more than she was before. Very much redemption to me.
❤ Thanks for your encouraging comment :)
My choice too. I understand that the judges are judging from different standards - they can't just judge based on what speaks to them because that is so subjective, and they follow certain rules - but oh my, Tanya's really grabbed hold of me from the first glimpse and after that it stayed number one for me, even though many of the others were appealing and or well executed or had enormous potential.
I agree, as well as Melissa's. I would love to see in my home. I feel inspired to paint now.
congrats to nicolette!! her painting was beautiful! i’m so excited to see the final three paintings.
i know there have been a lot of comments with feedback regarding this season (which might just be because the audience has expanded via youtube) but i thought i would share a few thoughts. i have watched the first two seasons of the outstanding artist multiple times and absolutely loved them! i thought season 2 was a great progression from season 1.
this season i have seen many great paintings and really like all of the contestants. however, i don’t feel like i’ve gotten a feel for their personalities in the same way i did in previous seasons. i also wish there were more close ups on the art throughout the painting process, explanations of the choices the artists are making, struggles they’re having, and so on. having this season in greece led to amazing views and places to paint, but i do think in doing so this led to this season feeling less personal. also, while i understand that it is a competition and you want to push the artists out of their comfort zones, i think having each session outside in the elements did not allow the art to shine as it should or for the artists to create their best work.
in this redemption challenge episode when everyone came back there were so many i barely knew, whereas in season 2 having everyone involved in mini challenges each week allowed me to become invested in everyone’s art journey even if they weren’t still in the competition. this was only shown further when you had previous contestants show up as judges and i was so excited to see them! i really felt like i got to know everyone and was excited to follow along on their painting journeys after the previous seasons ended, in a way i don’t feel quite as strongly this time around - even though i do like the women and think they have made beautiful work.
the lack of investment i feel may also be because the previous seasons were longer and there were more challenges and more time to get to know everyone. i understand that that may not be possible and you had to scale down in episodes in order to scale up in production. but i would love to see a happy medium - bringing back the mini challenges perhaps. i enjoyed those so much previously.
i hope this is taken as constructive because i did enjoy this season and i hope to see many more seasons in the future. :)
Thank You! I think this is really great feedback for the show🤩
@@nicolettevandenhadelkamp3156 you're so talented!! love your art!
Aahh Thank You so much🙏💗
All the paintings look beautiful!
This was so nice! I really loved all the interviews and that they all had another chance to be in the final.
so much more talking about all this inspirational stuff to them instead of really spending more time actually painting with them, showing them techniques and challenges ... omg so much preaching lol
aaah I loved to see them all again! such amount of art and spectacular artists
There was no doubt in my mind, after the first 4 hours. I just loved Nikolet´s painting, and also Eva´s.
🙏💕
Loved what you all did beautiful work all winners 💖
I have been on pen and needles with everyone of these challenges. But for some reason this one even more then ever. I want them all to win and yet there can only be one winner. I'm not finished watching yet and I just had to make this comment.
Gosh.. I’ve been waiting forever for the finale!! This was almost two weeks ago.
Why don't you show all the paintings with critiques.? Very disappointing!!!
I would have lost the first challenge and gone out on my own and painted that beautiful country. Who cares about the competition. That’s a once in a lifetime chance to be there.
I love the idea of this series, which is why I keep coming back (I love Landscape / Portrait Artist of the Year, which has been going for many season now) but the production and editing really needs to be upped. It's an art show, yet you barely see the art. You mention artists by name but don't show their piece so I have no idea which painting you're talking about half the time, and when people win or get chopped it's imperative to actually show the art! That's the basics of story telling and show production, surely?!
I’m so excited for all of you. Keep up the good work!
Congratulations!!!! Well deserved!!!
Go Tanya go :D
Yay! Can’t wait. Love this series
All beautiful and interesting paintings.
Enjoyable series!
Great contestants artists.
"Dalia Milan, winner of the season one"? I think that is just a little wrong, sorry. Previous winner has the same name as creators of this show?🤔
This show is great, but it would be better if everytime there would be two different judges, who are not someone the judges know so well already. And if we could see more of the artwork. I think this is a good show💖 But it would benefit more objective opinions and to tell more clearly what's coming next. I thought this was the finale with all of them 😀
Yes, she their daughter
Here we go!🥰
All paintings were beautiful. I only wish it was possible for all of them to win and move to the final challenge. ;)
This is episode is really more an example of how to create tax savings from your family vacation..
😂 lots of movies I see, make me think, they just wanted to travel there as a business expense. Who needs a plot?
That would be a heck of a lot of trouble to go to in order to write off your family vacation. They go there every year to paint, so I'm sure they can write it off anyway. Producing a show at this level is a beast!
Her painting was absolutely beautiful ❤
And the winning piece is a vase of flowers with a small fairy inside as the cherry on top... well, darn. Is this a competition for the biggest kitsch?
Yes!
Zebrina whyyyyyyyyyyy 😂 I was rooting for you and you do abstract???!!! 😅
But I’m glad you had a breakthrough ❤
When is finale of season 3? I have kept up with the whole program and excited to see finale!
I kept checking this week to see if it was up! I wanna know too. Love this show
Are we ever going to see the finale? Or have I missed it somehow?
How can Jessie piece be top 3!! Her piece does not have any redemption “shout out”.
I'm somewhat dissatisfied with the outcomes and the selected list of finalists. Some eliminated artists, in my opinion, deserved an opportunity to compete in the final round.
Go Tanya
Very frustrating! It’s all about the art, yet they don’t even stop to focus on each painting so viewers can see that on which the judges based their decision! Just a lot of self reflection babbling and nothing to reward the artists in the viewing audience. Poorly produced - a competition on a visual art without giving the audience a good visual of the final products. 😕
My critique: Less sobb stories, more painting
Круто👏
I could not take eight hours to do a painting, more like two hours max, i would not know what to do.
❤❤❤
When will the finale be shown?
During previous video i watch as artist are being critique. Can someone tell me is this a show about exploring artists unique individuality or following a certain artist.??
Following the style of the lady who owns the Milan family school
When do we find out who won this season?
Could someone tell me what is the size of a canvas they are painting in this episode and how much time they have for painting in this challenge?
ah ok 8 hours ;)
How do we vote ? I want this show to. Be 777 episodes!
Is there a final?
WHEN WILL WE SEE WHO WON THIS CHALLENGE???
Something about this family, are you guys Christians? You guys are so calm, humble and in peace! I love watching you guys! Such a beautiful family!
when is the final going to shown, its been ages waiting, rapidly losing credibility Milan Art
Where was Bri? So confused! I thought this was going to be the episode with one winner. Why would it be fair to have everyone back again?
This was just the "redemption" challenge - giving all of those who had lost and were "out of the competition" one last chance to "redeem themself" and win one last spot among the top three final contestants. The next episode I presume will be the finale where the winner of this round will join the two remaining from the previous episode and one of these will be declared "The Outstanding Artist."
They should stop spoiling portrait images by making them of dolly birds endlessly
Ugh dude, it's Redeemed
Not Redeemer
😂 I was saying the same thingggg
@@JuneAustin-lp9wx This guy is ick and cringe at the same time
I think they could do better than they have, they turn out mediocre paintings over and over then suddenly a good one, shows they could do better
What has happened to Tarana?! She was part of the original 13
Where are they getting the references on there phone
The internet or personal photos? Uploads from sketch apps, etc?
They create them on apps on their phones.
Probably from websites that offer royalty-free images like Unsplash, Pixabay, and Pexels. That way they won't encounter any issues.
Not sure how your are judging but the three at the end were definitely not the best. the t-cup abstract......really!!!
Most comments are so annoying with the complaints about everything but commenting about the art itself. If you don't like the show, go watch what you like. It's simple.
Does this guy have to talk ALLLLL THE TIMEEEEEE? Good lord! Shutttt upppp and let them paint! And let us enjoy the show. I mean that’s not normal in comparison to other shows I’ve watched like this. They may pop in at the beginning, and middle and end (of course) but not just stand there the whole time looking for something to say. These are allll amazing artists. Let them do what they do. You’re hindering their creativity, and no doubt their sanity
Choix étrange...
Way too much yapping and not enough artistry...
Competition Is not art,
True, however it's clear that ART Can Be A Competitive Experience!
@@OneOfAMineRockshave you seen different flowers c🎉ompeting One against another? This standardization of the subjectivity Is the totalitarian seed
I think to make money, and have an art career, it is definitely a competitive field. You could make anything a competition. I once show a show about hotel cleaning. They literally had towel folding and bed making competitions.
@user-lj7cc3rk2o YES!
Flowers compete every second of every second of their existence!
For light, food, water, Love!
Just like EVERYTHING!
Peace & ❤️!
@@OneOfAMineRocks they do not compete for their potential beauty, back to the core of the discutono. If you want to find the motivational leverage, you can set the objectives. In that sens market with its parameters could be acceptable. Telling the which market, tendency needs ... anyway good luck every One 🙏
Tanya's looks like the lady was shot in the head and blood was streaming down all over her face.
Bringing that “sunshine” Jenny?
