I saw an african crested porcupine. I can't wait to get this. The animals and the building aspects are so much fun. Would love to see birds and fish added. Customizable aquariums for fish would be awesome. And a bird walk in encloser would be so cute like with parakeets or other small tropical birds.

So, from new DLC Arid Animal Pack🐪🦔🦏😾🐍🏜🌾 to get 8 animals from Arabian Desert, 5 ungulates (Dromedary Camel, Addax, Dama Gazelle, Somali Wild Ass & Eastern Black Rhinoceros), a Rodent with Quills (Crested Porcupine), a small feline (Sand Cat😾🏜) and exhibit a snake, Desert Horned Viper. I'm so excited for that, but, I thought to get Secretary Bird, Hamadryas Baboon and Nile Crocodile.
I'm excited for the porcupine but there are so many missed opportunities here. Would have loved to see the secretary bird, hamadryas baboon, and sulcata tortoise over yet more ungulates.
wonderful animal set. Missed opportunity for the secretary bird, though. Porcupine will be great and looks stunning. I'm a huge fan of hooves and horns, so addax and dama already have my money. camel is great and sand cat will go nicely next to my caracal enclosure. Don't care much about the snake to be honest. I think my zoo will switch from white to black rhino and the wild ass has it's place next to the przewalskis
I’m really glad that crested porcupines are in the game. If I had the game, I would make a huge nocturnal house with them and almost every nocturnal animal in the game.
And with the addition of the Black Rhino & the Dromedary the only animal that was in all three Zoo Tycoon games but not Planet Zoo is the Emperor Penguin, as it's place was taken in Planet Zoo by the King Penguin. Ah well maybe one day.

I’m not saying it’s bad but there is a huge problem. the word arid is dry and we come to think of deserts, but this pack only focuses on the Sahara desert, and I’m saying this because ALL OF THE ANIMALS ARE FROM AFRICA!!!!!!! this pack is not an arid pack, it’s a Africa pack which is a disappointment because there are other animals beyond the Sahara like coyotes, jerboas, bighorn sheep, thorny devils, and most importantly TASMANIAN DEVILS!!! just because this looks like a great pack, doesn’t mean it’s good. I think for once planet zoo has disappointed us, other desert animals could have made it into this pack but, if planet zoo is seeing this comment please give us what we want and not a repeated pack like especially birds and fish please
I would like to see quotes from the characters in-game of Planet Zoo about EACH of the animals in the game, kinda like it happens in Jurassic World Evolution and Prehistoric Kingdom when a dinosaur is released from a hatchery

I want there to be a pack with the African forest elephant and leopard golden snub nose monkey coquerel’s sifaka and mountain gorilla and African rainforest habitat design in it too and more birds of prey species and other tropical bird species as well
already disappointed. Yes there's some GREAT selections but this isn't the "Arid" pack, it's so much more the "Mideast" pack. There's a plethora of highly wanted animals cut and substituted for "reskins" that would have made this more inclusive for all the deserts of the world instead of just the Middle East. Don't get me wrong, this pack has some great animals, but I'm disappointed in the cheapening of the pack Frontier went with. And even more heartbreaking is knowing this is one of the last few packs before Frontier just disappears on the love for this game for something else, I know I'm now not going to get a heavy number of animals the community severely desires. This pack is NOT worth full price so I'll only be waiting for a 50+% discount before I consider buying it.
This is by far the worst pack in terms of animals for me. Porcupine, Rhino, and Camel are great but HALF the roster is ungulates, no baboon, no Secretary bird, no walkthrough exhibit, the cat is fine but I would’ve preferred the serval. I mean do we really need a Dama Gazelle? I would’ve at least preferred an Eland. I am only buying this pack for the Porcupine and Rhino. I’m really disappointed with this one.

Five African ungulates, no hamadryas baboon, zero birds or even something like a Sulcata tortoise, no non-African animals. Come on.
