I can't get over how absolutely gorgeous the black rhino model is, especially in the face and the horns the detail is just immaculate, I'd love to build for them some time Also oh man the Addax and Wild Ass are both beautiful as well, always excited for more hooftstock they're some of my favourite animals

I was really hoping for a cobra as the exhibit species, we've had cobra things in the games since forever, it would've made more sense to me I like the viper a lot tho
I think the african crested porcupine you should have interspecies enrichment with the meerkat because at Chester zoo they share a habitat and it's relatively common to have them share
I have no clue if the other equines have that too, i have never seen it before but 13:54 got me... The napping animation of the donkey is just awesome! With the one back hoof up in a resting position, thats so lifelike! I love it!!!
I havent been playing planet zoo for a long time bc i didnt have time for it but this will definitely bring me back to it! And the animals look so good too ! I love to see some bushes.. i'm looking forward to be playing planet zoo with or without the pack. #SPIT
After seeing the animals in action, I'm sold on pretty much all the critters in this pack! But my two favorites remain unchanged: Porcupine and sand cat! I'm so stoked both of these made their way into the game... Great showcase, as always. It was nice to see some of the special cat animations in action. Looking at the signs, I'm kinda wishing they gave us at least one more variant for the sand cat and the porcupine. More specifically, a sitting sand cat and a porcupine without the puffed out quills would have been really nice!
Thank you Leaf as always for a great in depth overview of this pack. I am so excited for the porcupine as I hope it leads to more porcupines like the North American and the Prehensile Tailed. Will keep my talons crossed. I am not one looking forward to the petting zoo feature because being in the field I do not personally like them, but the #spit feature will help my schadenfreude soul with that. Anyways cannot wait to see what amazing build you unveil with these animals tomorrow!

The annimals all look incredible, they look fantastic. I was immidaitly loving to see the sleeping wild ass. too cute for words. Frontier definetly has upped their models so much in the past years. also thanks for looking into variants, I think your the only PZ Content creator who does? Its a shame many of them dont (not even common stuff like a more beige variant or something like it) Great to see both camels got spoiled on variants now. The decor pieces are nice but i def reconise what they referanced from. #Spit

I don't know why people are hating on the sand cat it is almost accurate to real life the face toward the bottom just needs to be a little tiny bit thiner Also it seems with every dlc Frontier adds an animal that leaf has made a mod for at least for the last 2 which is how long I've been in the community actually playing the game also #spit
Leaf im not sure if you've seen enough black rhinoceros or maybe the ones you've seen arent eastern but I work at a wildlife park and we have eastern black rhinoceros and they have huge humps like that too. But they arent always that pronounced. Its mostly due to the fact that the planet zoo black rhinos head is always down low. If it were to raise its head a bit the hump wouldnt appear as pronounced but I can assure you most easterns have huge humps like that, even south centrals. I honestly dont see anything wrong with the model of thr black rhinoceros. For the certain eastern they were going for i think its actually near perfect. The problem is how it moves. It uses the southern white rig where it shouldve been given its own unqiue rig. Thr behavior and movements of those two rhinos are extremely different. But model wise I give it a 9.5/10 easily the best ive seen from frontier or modders.
You could probably take that baby rhino, make it hairy, make it more brown/orange in coloration, change the model a bit, give it a lil horn, and u’ve got urself a great Sumatran rhino mod Edit: Yo actually looking at pictures of Sumatran rhinos they are way bigger than I remember them being lol.

It’s not the sand cat with the kill rate, it’s the African black-footed cat. I’d also like to argue that those sand cats are far less derpy than they could be and are pretty accurate with the full cheeks and large ears, wish they leaned into the more triangle face the kittens have though. I’m sure you can guess I’m into felines getting added to the packs, not like birds get that luxury. Either way excited about the morphs on the camels and the new animals for sure, can check another off my ZT2 wishlist! #spit

The #camel #spit definitely seems to make way into a petting zoo kinda thing in the future. That being said, I thought walkthrough exhibits would lead to birds and there wasn't even a walkthrough addition for this DLC, so I could be wrong :(
