    This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection ruclips.net/user/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.

    J’adore comment tu ajoutes des « h » au début de certains mots et tu les retires du début d’autres: on reconnaît ainsi l’anglais avec l’adorable accent québécois!

    • @SEBTECHDIY
      @SEBTECHDIY  3 года назад

      Haha oui effectivement! 😂 Pas toujours facile avec l'accent québécois! Quand je fait mes voice over en matinée c'est plus facile que quand je les fait a 9h le soir, mais surtout je parle jamais l'anglais au quoditien ( travail/famillle ) beaucoup plus difficile de garder le rythme. J'ai surtout hate d'être plus a l'aise a trouver mes mots pour parler directement devant la caméra on dirait que sa me retient encore! 😅

    Great built! I wonder how this will hold up over the years? Treated lumber may be better perhaps but I know it's more expensive harder to work with. Perhaps line it with some type of rubberized paint or something? I built some long planters 5 years ago and although I used treated lumber for the sides I think the bottoms were not and they are slowly rotting but every year. They are the centerpiece of our deck - the secret her in CO is to water the plants 3 times a day with built in drip irrigation! Flowers from May to Nov!

    no need for pocket holes. just attatch a piece of 2x2 on the ends. do this for 2 sides. any holes you make on the outside if using screws can be filed with gluey sawdust. then stain the whole thing. these small circles give it character

    Great video, bad plan. Where did you buy your mini-drill that fits inside this thing? I've got 24 cut pieces and can't use my drill inside to assemble them because a dewalt cordless is waaay too long to fit inside. I'll have to modify your plan to do anything... or buy different tools.

    • @SEBTECHDIY
      @SEBTECHDIY  2 года назад

      Hey Kev. My drill is an old 12v hitachi, most 12v drill are small enough to fit inside or any impact driver should fit inside too. You could also buy a 90 degree adapter for your drill it could work too. Sorry if plan is not the best, i'll sure try to to better the next time. What is particular you didn't like? Did you also check my instructables it's a step by step guide with pictures it may be easier to follow than my video, you can check it out here : www.instructables.com/DIY-Modern-Planter-Box-Made-With-2x4s/ , hope it help! 😉

    Nice planters, very simple. Curious though couldn’t you make all the rows exactly the same and just flip them over?
    Edit: I commented before watching the entire video, it’s a very nice design, I like the plastic liner.

    • @SEBTECHDIY
      @SEBTECHDIY  3 года назад

      Hey!
      at the beginning I did it like this to realize that each row was the same I had no alternation, instead of having the end of the piece alternating left and right on each row, the ends of the boards were all one above the other in the same column. I hope to explain it well lol

    Thank you for the shared and how much cost for the box?

    • @SEBTECHDIY
      @SEBTECHDIY  3 года назад

      Depends, right now 2x4 is overpriced, but in normal time, it's around 20 buck for wood and screws for 1 planter box. I already had the plastic liner and geotextile so I saved on this part, it was the same thing for the wood stain, it was leftovers from my bed frame. 😊

    What will you do with the drain pipe when you move it inside?

    • @SEBTECHDIY
      @SEBTECHDIY  3 года назад

      We did this last winter, i simply put them on a shoes tray. But the trick is to water them regularly so you'll never have water through that drain. When they are on my deck, i care less and put the hose directly in the planter box. 😄

    • @SEBTECHDIY
      @SEBTECHDIY  3 года назад

      The inside is 12x12x12 ( 1 cubic feet ) but you don't fill to the top so maybe 10" of soil inside. Overall it's less that 1 cubic feet of soil.
