I do this quite often with foreigners. You think just like me, just for my betterment purpose I just approach strangers and start making conversation. Even I don't like to do but as you rightly said some pain we have to bear.

Hi! I love all your exercises! They are fun and easy to do. In fact, I started the exercise in which you put on loud music on your phone to douse out your own voice and then record yourself speaking for 3-5 minutes. I practice daily, I promise. I used to dislike listening to my own voice, so I wouldn't talk at all . But with this exercise, I'm able to not only improve myself but also enjoy speaking, even if it is only into the phone for now. With practice I hope to improve my spoken English, mainly because I don't want to mess up my interviews anymore. And God knows I have messed up soooooo many of them😅. I have found hope for myself ever since RUclips recommended your video. I have made it a point to watch one video from your channel daily. Keeps me motivated.
Tbh, my written skills are on point, but my verbal communication is a work in progress. After doing the aforementioned exercise for just 5days, I have gained a lot of confidence in speaking, as I have seen significant changes in my speech- in terms of pitch, pace, modulation et al. And since it is sort of like an extempore, it even makes me think of relevant points before opening my mouth.😁 That's saying a lot, especially coming from a chronic introvert who hated speaking with people earlier.😒 I guess this long post is a testimony to that.😊 So thanks again for your helpful content! It's crazy that people (including myself) are afraid of talking to strangers. We are afraid of refusal or how they would reach so much that we don't approach people which means we are missing out on lots of great relationships, let them be partners, friends or business.
