    Collins looks unstoppable right now, she plays such a fast flat ball and Rybakina will have to serve very well to win the final .Plus Collins is fresher than Rybakina coming into this final. It's a pity the stadium wasn't full ,after all she's a Floridian and deserves more support. I admire her because she's playing highly competitive professionnal sport while dealing with very painful chronic diseases.
    So resilient. Absolutely amazing.

    • @blairswindle9471
      @blairswindle9471 Месяц назад +5

      Yeah, normally I’d say Rybakina takes it easy, but Collins has had a relatively breezy and dominant run after the first round while Rybakina has had had several grinding 2-2.5 hour three-setters. Elena def could be fatigued and not as fresh although she always has it in her to pull something out. Like you said, it all rests on Elena’s serve and Danielle keeping up this level of returning.
      Should be a great match! I love them both.

    • @juancarlosprevostzarate7077
      @juancarlosprevostzarate7077 Месяц назад +3

      Danielle my favorite WTA player... And Rybakina the next #1 (hopefully)... All of us who value the effort and overcoming adversity admire Danielle who didn't have the opportunity to start her career younger but had to wait until finishing university when she was 24... and then is their health problems... She is so aggressive and when she is "in the zone" she can beat anyone being Iga or Sabalenka or Rybakina... But that's what is needed, that she repeats such a high level in the final, because Rybakina has all the shots, energy and calmness to face important matches..... Will be a great final for sure and I hope Danielle Collins wins in her home state!!

      Why Alexandrova was frequently hitting to that wing was a mystery to me.

    Collins is playing w/ house money in all her matches since this is her last season. It shows with how composed and free she is playing. Great performance from her. Hope for and expect a great final vs. Rybakina.

    Alexandrova after beating top10 players Iga and Pegula bow down to Collins in straight sets...was it a dip of form or Collins play style which made the difference🤔...

      Both I think. Credit to Collins who played a fantastic match. And Alexandrova had been playing at a level high enough that I didn't see her being able to sustain it for more than a couple of matches.

    Even though Alexandrova was eliminated in the semi-final, basically making us a stupendous impression with her mobility and movement. It broadly indicates that she will seek to advance her performance and resilience in the following tourneys. As to Collins, she was really magnificent and a solid game.

    Every week, something different. If you into just one player, do well, this not the time watch WTA. 2 week ago, Paolini. Last week, Swiatek. Collins should know. Rybakina letting people get close, last few match, like dangle carrot in front of horse. Then she step on pedal for 4 minute and win.
