Dozer just doesn't seem nerfed IMO then. I want more Vault weapons introduced too, just feels like clickbait title if the real issue is what they're using their time and resources for to implement into the core game 🤷♂
@Sarjantbob He CAN literally die to a single NTW 50cal round! 120 damage in under 100m! 80% of that means 96 damage, through the shield...Plus, they're not stopping here actually, still promising to do more balancing changes for Dozer. It won't be buffs since people are crying about it all over the place! I guess time will tell. But in my opinion, this is generally a nerf rather than a buff
If it’s 96 then it’s not a one shot through the shield, and to be fair it’s an armor piercing round… piercing armor 😅 It doesn’t feel like a buff or nerf to me just an oversight on release on why bullets can armor penetrate tanks but not a shield. They”ll probably play with the % of damage going through, but honestly this just feels like something the game should have started with 🤷♂️
Uh,.......when I get killed , I'm never thinking it's that damn dozer! He needs to be nerfed. Sundances forever flying is what needs to be abolished and the godforsaken tiny hit box on the big transport heli needs increasing, can't hit that thing like there's a force field around it
If something does not have a counter.. it needs changes. Oh look a Dozer is coming at me... let me pew him in the face... nope he has a shield... Oh look a Dozer is coming at me... let me pew him in the legs... Dozer used crouch... (It was super effective) Oh look a Dozer is coming at me... let me throw a nade or c5 past him... Dozer has explosive damage reduction. If there is no effective counter other than "omg... mlg movement tek... jump, slide, jump, past and 180 headpew him" Then no... he needs changes. He doesn't have an effective counter that can be used by the majority of the player bases skill level. And this is coming from me... someone with an over 3 infantry KD. Also Dozer was not the way he is now for 3 years... he was buffed through the roof a few months ago. And dice have been trying to "fix" him ever since.

He shouldn't have explosive reduction with the shield up. Pewing his shield should slow him down. He shouldn't have a 10 foot range with the shield bash, he isn't captain america. He shouldn't run the same speed as a regular soldiers sprint speed, when he has his shield out. To me the entire character should be changed. He should have 2 loadouts. Loadout 1. No shield, But he has an explosives defusal suit on. With this loadout he takes 80% reduced explosive damage BUT he has no tac sprint. Loadout 2. He has a shield But no explosives defusal suit. In this loadout he has no explosive resistance, can tac sprint and has no primary weapon (shield takes up that slot). How to deal with the "I cant pew dozer through shield" crowd? Well here's the kicker. Dozer can open up a hole in the side of his shield and pew with his sid*arm. He can only crouch walk in this "pew mode", his accuracy is only as good as the hipfire of his selected sid*arm BUTTT people can pew his hand.

This is (overall) a Dozer BUFF, not a nerf. 80% faster shield deploy- completely overrides the AP ammo changes because nobody ever uses AP ammo and they never will because it sucks. The drastically reduced damage through the shield is laughable (10% with ARs?!?! - that’s 2.2-2.8 damage per bullet!)

I have rarely had actual trouble killing a dozer before, I didn't even know he's supposedly was too op.
