I have two now. Wear one every day. The only thing I've noticed over time is you need to set these things in direct sunlight to charge them, so if you're writer like myself, you need to remind yourself to go outside here and there. haha Thanks for tuning in bud!
I literally just walked into a Ross department store looking for shoes… Walked past the watch case and noticed this particular watch! I knew what it was from studying it online, walked around for five minutes and then purchased it for $82… Jackpot!
That's a different version you just picked up (the solar/bluetooth models are more costly) but you can't go wrong with any of the Gshocks! I have the base model ($50 version) and I still love that one too...
5 Minute Knives no. I have the solar Bluetooth version authentic model 3461. Black negative display. I found a deal!!!! App on my iPhone, 4 second light, reminders ...everything!!! Combi bracelet , I got links removed at my watch makers store. Thanks have a nice day
@@souflayscott9648 For more than half off the regular price at a store that doesn't list carrying it? If you say so. If that's legit, that's an incredible deal. Congrats!
5 Minute Knives Thanks! I did a double take when I walked past it, I analyzed it so long that they thought I was trying to steal it. I’m certain it’s authentic, I don’t know how it ended up there. But there are no imperfections, everything works great. I missing the book though ☹️
Yeah these charge pretty fast from dead to low longer from low to medium and actually quite some time from med to high... and dont think indoors lights will get it to full charge. Sun always the best.
Уже на первых секунд видео показана один из недостатков инверсионного дисплея - различные капли и пятна , не просто выглядит не красиво, но ещё и мешают разглядеть информацию ! Чего не скажешь о позитивном дисплее...
What's the actual colour of the dial background and numerals? It's hard to tell on video. Sometimes it looks blue and white others it looks dark blue and light blue.
They say 30 mins of direct sunlight charges it for 10 months but I don't think that's true. Since we work from home, if I have a week where I'm mostly inside, I leave the watch on a window (outside) for a few hours. This way I never need to check it but I had low battery with normal use a few times before. (Also turn off the auto light feature. Kills the battery.) Other than that, is been solid.
Having trouble with the "low" myself like how do you tell if its fully charged as I've spent a day out in the sun with it on before and it only lasted a week
@@YourSoulDriver Man, RUclips has been hiding a lot of comments from me. I have noticed that charging in direct sunlight is much better than through a window but I've never even paid attention to the battery strength to be honest.
Great question! I wanna say jomashop but I'd have to dig for the receipt. I remember looking all over and the price was about 200$ everywhere though...
Really? I didn't really cover it that well, BUT I can say, this watch has replaced pretty much all my others ever since I got it. Enjoy and thanks for tuning in!
It's a bit better in person and has an auto backlight feature, so when I pick up my wrist the backlight turns on. It's pretty sweet. They also make them in positive (white background displays) too. Thanks for tuning in!
@@5MinuteKnives I have the automatic backlight when you flick your wrist......but have noticed that I use it quite frequently.....and in a few days my battery is on medium.....have since turned it off and press the button if I must light the screen.....as for the face......I like the normal positive screen... thanks for the review.
@@adrianotero7963 Yah, I think it's cuz you're charging it through a window. For whatever reason, it charges so much better in direct sunlight, so the auto backlight feature has never been an issue for me (yet) Also, it's easier to see in person for me too. I usually don't need the backlight. I'll be honest, I just think the negative screen looks cooler. haha
This is the kinda review I'm into. I've done the research and with your comments I'm convinced that I'm ordering one tomorrow morning. Thanks!

Is this kind of display easy to read in a sunny day? thanks!
It's not that easy to read but not as tough as you might think. I honestly don't even notice any issues anymore. Thanks for watching!
It looks great. I like the matt finish.
It holds up really well over time too. Mine still looks brand new. :)
Is there a standard LCD variant of this B6500BC?
there are other variants of the GM-B5600 that have a positive display, but as for this specific model GM-B5600BC, no it only comes like this.

I think that’s just on camera (my skills were severely lacking at this time) but I don’t think I’ve ever had a problem reading it. 🤷
that watch also use by astronaut back then, the same watch still displayed in nasa museum
Isn't that cool? I love that.
A Wortch?
Hey you spelled it correctly! 👍

Black and white but the backlight is in a light purple.
@@5MinuteKnives thanks. Is it hard to see in most occasions?
@@Barnaby_bo Surprisingly, no. It shows up great in direct sunlight too. never had an issue.
Does it have fitness features, like steps calories stuff like that ?
Nope. In that way, it's kind of dated, but if you're looking for a no hassle watch that will work forever, this is it.

You need to use the app (G-shock connected; IOS or Android). The battery level is shown on the top left corner, when connected.
