The Shots of you actually wearing the watch in wide angle is v useful ....everybody else just holds it in hand in a close up shot.. can't really make out how it actually looks on someone's wrist from a distance
Considering it's on Amazon for around 40% less than what seems to be the next model down in the range which has 6 band radio but no Bluetooth it would be really hard to argue otherwise, it's a steal right now.
Why anyone would want a negative display like these that are so hard to see, I cannot understand. The Rangeman B1000 negative display is completely different and very legible.
That is until they came out with positive display ones. And one of the little things that was a problem with the GWM-5610 was not being able to see the current time when in stopwatch or timer mode. The module they used in the GW-B5600 fixed that. Although I still consider the GWM-5610 highly desirable. People complain about the surrounding red line on the face of the dial but I personally think that the colorway on the GWM-5610 is beautiful.
@@kma86Yeah, I really like the blue on the 5600 over the red line on the 5610. Wish that they offered the 5600 without Bluetooth. Would have been an easy decision for which one I wanted.
I got the 5610 love it but as you said when you use timer and stopwatch bloody current time doesn't show...such a shame!! Even my basic casio w 900 has that function
I can’t seem to find a straight answer for a steel bezel upgrade for the GW-B5600. Is it the same one that fits all DW/GW5600 models? I was looking on AliExpress and got confused if they are all the same or not. Thanks in advance.
Great channel, thanks ! I just got the orange skmei today, great watch. I have mainly casio digital watches , one black out square g shock. Was looking at this blue varient...we have similar taste :)
The drawback of the GW-B5600 is also its benefit: the smartphone. It depends upon the smartphone. If you don't have one, it's not that great. In that case the GWM5610U is better.
Good review. Am tempted to sell my G5600E-1 and get the GW-b5600-2d. May as well have the time maintained to the second (and no atomic satellites in AUS so bluetooth it is). The correct DD-MM would be worth it. Agree, if you got the phone app link then easier using that than pressing all the buttons.
Thank you SO MUCH. The fact that you need to press and HOLD those tiny tiny buttons on the gw-b5600 changer my mind about it. That is real terrible design. Such a pity. But thank you. That is now out of my buying list.
And do you think that the solar charging function has a decisive and indisputable advantage over a conventional battery?I choose between two options...One of them has a simple battery, but I really like the green color of the watch itself ..I'm talking about the DW5610SU-3...Whatever you think..not a very simple watch?
@@TomasWatchReviews I suspected that the solar panel was nothing more than a trick... Do you have a watch from the Casio category that you would like to buy soon? Thanks for your opinion..
Download app, connect watch, setup timer/reminder, sync settings… Why not use timer/reminder on the phone itself?? IMO bluetooth in this watch is pointless. It could a semi-smart watch with great features, but currently it's just pointless.

@Keenan Bryant kys bot
just cancelled the 5610 that otherwise would arrive January 4th. Ordered the 5600-2 because of your review. Thanks buddy
You can hold in the mode button to directly return to the time screen.
I got this cheap earlier in the year, one of my favourites, I put the distressed grey stainless bezel and bracelet on and it looks great
Hi on the GW-B 5600 if you press and hold the mode button it will go back to time from any mode.
Totally agree about this being the best value G-Shock square.

I like how you get straight to the point.
I like this watch, but HATE the negative display. Extremely illegible. So I'm getting the same one in Midnight Green with the normal positive display.
I can see the negative display fine
The blue reflection and reverse dial make for hard reading, in my eyes the 5610 is worth $100 more even without the Bluetooth functionality.
best function of the 5610...you can read the display very easily compared to the negative displays.
makes sense

I choose this one instead of Dw5600,or Gx 56,becouse of auto light function(it is must have if you go for negative display)
Great video! Love moments of wearing. It shows how it looks in real life

Just got one.
Loving it.
The only problem is the legibility of the negative display....damn, why does casio do this?

the beginning of the video you said the 5610 don't have solar just a fyi it does have solar no offense they are all excellent watch good video!

Isn't it basically the same for those two models except one having the Bluetooth function?
Would you buy the DW5500BB? Just a basic/primitive digital watch. But I prefer the design. What do you think?
I think it is very cool classic gshock.
Thank you for this great review. Keep it up man

My wrist size is 5.9 inch...which g shock is for me ...?plz reply.
square should be fine. Try in a shop

I personally like it and have no problem with it. If pressed briefly, it switches the alarm on or off or resets the timer, long press to set…
What is your wrist size?

I personally could not care less about solar panels. For me it is just a design element.
@@TomasWatchReviews I suspected that the solar panel was nothing more than a trick... Do you have a watch from the Casio category that you would like to buy soon? Thanks for your opinion..
Yes, many Casios. I would like to buy them all :D Keeping my eye on GBX100 now.
@@TomasWatchReviews That's settled...I buy it together with the board )) Thank you
Thank you good job brother 👌
phone finder is nice!
very helpful thank you
Annoying buttons. Yes. They need a larger surface area.

nežinojau.. Beje, geležinio bezelio jau laukiu ant 5600bb, darysiu video.
Why do solar G-Shocks always have dim, washed-out and small displays? With basically infinite battery life, why not have a big, bright display?
40+ years old technology I guess
Not all have a big wrist

for the most part it is just very helpful to set up the watch as you dont need to remember button pressing combos for specific features.
ada joker sudah woi.. mantap
I prefer the 5610 because it doesn’t have Bluetooth, but I really like the blue on the 5600 and wish it came without the Bluetooth function.
Using one also with Bluetooth because I live in country where theres no radio signal available for multiband to work so yeah
this 5600 has a Multi-Band 6 too like the 5610.

It is just very satisfying to have a very accurate watch, which charges itself, so it is basically maintenance free.
Мне одному кажется, что английский здесь просто ужасный.
An what hole do you were it ? I have it an 6 hole from the display just for the reference for other watches
to be honest, 6'th is a bit too tight, 7'th a bit to loose..
