hes so incredibly talented! i love seeing him rock out!!!! he always works super hard and doesn't stop until he gets what he wants, and to be honest, that kind of perseverance and drive is really attractive! cant wait to see him next month!
For his first few tours he told the venues to provide Hawaiian shirts in his dressing room- a spoof on the sort of ridiculous requests rock stars had for their dressing rooms at the time. By the end of his tours he had hundreds of shirts… so he’d just wear them daily. lol
I was 7 when this came out. I learned so much at age 8 from this that I didn’t lose everything I had from a woman. I lost it all when my neighbor broke into my house😅. Go figure.
I heard most artists loved his spoofs on their hit songs. And I've had the pleasure of enjoying his talent since the late 70's on the Dr Demento Show radio broadcast.
Wonder what Tommy James and Billy Idol thought of his spoof since the instrumental is obviously based off the Billy Idol cover and the song us originally by Tommy James
i really wish we could see more footage of Al in the studio. I really enjoyed the Straight Outta Lynwood behind the scenes video
This was the best song on the whole album.
One take....look folks...one take....no break, no retakes, no autotune...SHEER, RUTHLESS AGRESSION 😅
Raw and relentless weird

He probably did do retakes and this was just the good one

I love his stage presence in the studio 🤘😃🤘
Wouldn't that be his studio presence? 🤘😃🤘
For some reason it makes me happy that he wears a Hawaiin shirt to the recording.

Fan of Al’s since 1981. I always have images in my mind when I hear his songs that match the story so this is great!

Focused hard work = success.
Al works hard, so we don't have to.

The Dr. Demento Show was the number one thing I looked forward to every Sunday!
