Incase anyone is wondering about the exact date I THINK it might be October 19, 1997, Phoenix, AZ, Arizona State Fair. The reason why I think that is cause I know for a fact Bermuda has a proshot from that show. And this show did indeed take place in 1997.
You should have seen the look of surprise I got when "Gee I'm a Nerd" started playing! Wow! Haha! Weird Al is not just the coolest guy ever, he's a genius too!! But how can I listen to "Free as a Bird" now without laughing..?
Actually, Syndicated Inc is a Soul Asylum parody, didn't realize it was an actual song of theirs called Misery. And Come Out And Play is the name of the Offspring song.
this man and finntroll are the reasons for my learning the accordion. i also have seen him in concert a few times because i live near his college and he does a bunch of shows there for free
Laundry Day- Offspring, can't remember name. Chicken Pot Pie- Wings, Live and Let Die. Spam- R.E.M.- Stand. My Bologna- The Knack, My Sharona. Alimony- Mony Mony- old song, covered by tons of people, most notably Billy Idol. Syndicated Inc- stylistic parody, not parody of any specific song. Another Rides The Bus- Queen, Another One Bites The Dust. Gee I'm A Nerd- The Beatles (John Lennon really), Free As A Bird
@MiniKirk Paul and Weird Al are great friends, but Free As a Bird is a Beatles song, and it's parody needs to be approved by Ringo and the other Beatles' widows to be commercially released. And the reasong Chicken Pot Pie wasn't released is because Paul and his wife, who were in the band that released the original, were vegetarians. Weird Al always respects the people he wants to parody.
It doesn't seem to make a difference that it was a screen, in fact half the time I forgot! This is great footage! I saw on his website the medley songs but I never heard it!
Glad I'm old enough to get all the references
Damn now I feel old, thanks Al 😆🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿
I remember my brother and I busting up to this medley live.

are you rude or just mean?
why didn't you just upload the video of the concert rather then videotaping a bloody flatscreen...
@brunoofthesheikra Yeah. Too bad Paul McCartney was too much of an asshole to let him :( But Macca's got no sense of humor...
