Just an fyi for anyone who doesn’t know, fruits like pomelo, grapefruit, and seville oranges all have a specific enzyme in them that can interact with a lot of medications, either making the medication not work at all or be twice as effective, which can be very dangerous depending on the medication. Please read up about any medications that you may take to see if it has a reaction with these fruits before consuming! ❤️

A friend gave me a pomelo for Christmas so I immediately went to this recipe to make this candy and it was super good! Not bitter at all and very lightly sweet.

I'm actually surprised. I tried making it with my leftover polemo peel and i somehow didn't mess it up. I should have washed them better, they are a bit bitter, but the overall recepie is really good. Thanks for giving me an excuse to eat more candy Edit: my one remaining braincell told me to put them in a glass bowl. I kinda broke it and now i have glass all over my candy.. next time, I'll use a plastic bowl. Lesson learned 👏
