I've put an X pattern on the back but never strapped each one. However, you are the Captain of your ship and can do things as you feel safe to do. You can't over secure a load.

That is crazy that they won’t allow you to secure your load while they are loading you . All truckers should get together and DEMAND that you secure it , or you will not take it.

People on here crying about how you strap? Yes, they appear locked. Preventing shift forward or backward. However, loads shift sideways as well. I would understand a little bit if Lonestar was asking you to do it, but he's doing it. So sit back and enjoy the content. Dang. 😅

All of the people saying too many straps must don’t have their tanker endorsement or don’t know the rules when having it.
And this is one of the main reasons why I will never haul hazmat too many unessary requirement when hauling hazmat you don't have it properly secured and boom you have a hazmat violation yep nooo thanks not worth the time or effort and it sounds like it doesn't pay very well with all the requirements we have to do to haul it yep no thank you
With all that climbing you did made me tired just watching. They should have let you secured those totes while they were loading you. Be safe.

I know you are looking for a certain amount of money per week but I don’t think you are showing the whole picture as when I drove I figured my money ( empty plus loaded )as using all mileage driven to get my per dollar mileage . Dead head still goes against your available hours thus- just saying!
