  • ➡️ This is Day 4 of the 5 Day Love Language Challenge
    Todays Challenge is Gift Giving
Your assignment is to give your gift a token of you love as a gift so they have something to hold onto as a reminder that they are a priority in your life.
    Here are some examples:
➡️ Pick up their favorite dessert
➡️ Go shopping and purchase something they wouldn't buy on their own
➡️ Create a piece of art for them
Healthy relationships are not built with conflict resolution skills or shared interests or hobbies, they thrive from solid friendships and treating each other lovingly. I kid you not, it is way simpler than it seems.
Follow these three steps every day for 5 days to complete the 5 Day Love Language Challenge
    1️⃣ Watch the videos
2️⃣ Share them with your partner
3️⃣ Complete your daily assignment within 24 hours
Most of all: HAVE FUN ❣️

We scheduled time to complete decorating the front room of our house. This was a task we had both avoided because it could require that we each needed to removed some meaningful personal items & could have resulted in a disagreement. However, building on our previous work this week, we focused on creating agreement & the finished product is one we both enjoy.

Wow, what a win this is, thanks so much for sharing! I love that you found a way to be preventative and also compromise to help you both feel happy long into the future. Well done!!

Gift giving--what if your partner wants NO gifts? Gift giving is NOT one of his love languages.

No worries, this challenge is for fun and for education, so if your partner doesn't want gifts, it sounds like focusing on one of the other 4 love languages would be a good idea. Thanks so much for bringing this up because it's a good point. Not only do we have preferences, but somesimes aversions as well, which is very good to know!
