Hello Chanel and Christine! Beautiful mother and daughter, soon your daughter is with you, instead of playing dolls, she’s planting succulents... ( lol ) my ghost plant still growing , can’t wait for them to trail like your. Thank you for sharing ♥️ JONAH
@@TheseSucculentBuddies that’s so cute , I wish my son like gardening too but unfortunately not . She will be a good loving mama plant someday like her mommy ♥️
I'm glad you found it helpful. I should be doing an update on this video soon. The stems have a lot of new babies now. Thank you so much for stopping by to watch. 😊💚
Thank you! I'm glad you found it helpful. My little one is always next to me when filming and just loves helping. She's so happy she gets to have her own lines here n there too. 😆💚
Hi Christine and Chanel! I just watched a couple beheading videos and wonder which species need to be cut short and which can stay long? Thx so much for your videos! I’m new to succulents and have watched a dozen or so different people on RUclips and I keep coming back to you - you are very detailed and that helps me a lot!
The succulents featured in this video, when taking cuttings, they don't need to be cut short. These guys will keep growing babies on their long stems. In episode #54, its another beheading video of different succulents that need to be cut short and I show how short. Most sedums and echeverias dont need to be cut short. Thank you for always coming back and watching! Really appreciate the support. 💚😊
Aww... she loves when she gets comments! She's already asking if she can do a kiddy version of planting succulents one day because she wants to talk the whole video she said. 😅 Thank you so much for stopping and watching! 💚
Hello Christine and Chanel!!! I absolutely love your videos!!! I am a newbie and I'd like to ask you silly question...How do you check if they have roots?.. Thank you in advance...
It's not a silly question at all! So the way to check for roots is to use a stick or something to gently uplift from the bottom where roots should be to loosen the soil without damaging roots that may have formed. Then gently lift up and brush some of the soil off. If it has rooted, you should see some new white roots. If not, the stem would still be bare. I suggest not checking until about 3-4 weeks after planting in soil to let the plant form roots without disturbing the process. Hope that helps! 😊
It takes a few years for stems to mature and develop to be that long. I just keep chopping off the heads and keep the leftover stems planted. But if you have a ghosty, they do grow long stems like mine over time. 😊
The clusters were so nice!
Thank you! 💚
You baby is cute

Do you always use plastic pots when you try to root your cuttings?
