My corso is the most gentle dog I've seen, especially with kids. He adores kids! He is sooooooo loving and very smart. An amazingly good dog. Mine got unusually large and tall, 150lbs.
My grandmother has a gorgeous cane corso. One of the most even keeled dogs I've ever encountered. Such a gentle teddy bear, but assertive when need be. Doesn't bark like an idiot at any little thing like my dumb dogs do. What an amazing animal.
Glad this gorgeous breed was saved, what wonderful dogs, they are super handsome. I've had nothing but small dogs & know I could never handle this much dog, but love them.
I rescued my 4 year old cane corso. he was vicious as fuck, was rescued from a drug house in Ohio so you could imagine. he finally gave in and began to trust us because he knows I would never give up on him. poor thing has been through 5 owners so far since being in canada. best decision in gettjng him, now I have the best guard dog and best cuddler in the world
Sounds like the one I got, he also came from some breeder in Ohio and was "vicious as fuck", reactive and aggressive with everyone and everything. The family he lived with gave him up because of his bite history, and being too large for them to handle. Sadly far too common of a story. I got him rehabilitated now, fully obedience trained, solid recall, although he's aloof with strangers but I can take him everywhere with me because he trusts me to guide him and knows I will take care of everything, so he can relax. He's a perfect companion and also an incredible guard dog. Naturally a man stopper without any previous protection training. With these guys solid obedience training and life long consistency is a must. :)
+TheDevilsAdvocate313 wowww he sounds 100% like Gooch ... that's his name btw :) good for you I'm glad you saved his life, we need more ppl like you to give them another chance at life. A real chance. good luck with everything! take care :)
+Lexy Commisso Thank you. Good luck and best wishes to you too. I’m also glad that Gooch got another chance, and found a forever home with you. Going through 5 previous owners must have been hard on him, poor guy. I know there are many people with good intentions that want to help, but when working with some of these guys people need to understand that they are not like your average dog, they are so much more, they are incredibly powerful, willful, with very strong guarding instincts, and they need to be properly managed, while being trained. Lots of work goes into rehabilitating a re-homed unstable dogs, and most people do not have the time, knowledge or will, and that’s why they struggle and give up on them. Very sad. I always say they are not for just anyone, they are a working dog not just another “pet”, and it takes a certain kind of person to happily own them. I absolutely love this breed, and will always have at least one in my life. :)
bless you for taking him. I have had a couple boxers like that, probably not as scary as the cane corso but a little. I'm so glad you got him. This video is great.
What's your dogs temperament? I totally feel in love with the looks of this dog but i have no idea of their temperament...are they working dogs? I mean (i do not want to be rude or insult) their temperament sound like a german shepherd in between show-line and working line dog...what i mean with this...can you maintain a cane corso happy with lots of normal exercise or is 100% working dog....like could be ok with people around but you need this dog to be evolved in IPO or stuff like that...or just straight be a totally guard dog and by that i mean trained by professionals...?
Karla Lopez My girl is a sweetheart once she warms up to you, but the first few minutes with a new person have to be handled very carefully. She is my security system. She is NOT my attack system, and she's been very good so far at maintaining that difference. Like the German Shepherd, the Cane Corso is a working dog first, and a pet second if at all. What that has meant for mine is that she is truly a wonderful, reliable, and generally safe farm guardian. She- like most of the breeds in this group- is happiest when we're out doing chores or learning a new command. Working group dogs don't just need physical exercise, they need mental exercise or their energy becomes destructive. They have been bred not only to guard but to evaluate and make decisions and that brainpower and confident attitude need to be properly managed. They need jobs.
Lynn Klug Awesome...i own a german shepherd he's mix of working line and show line so he's not pure dynamite but he can go on for several hours...I just really love the Cane Corso looking and what you said I think one would fit with us....and not sure what you mean by give him a job...well I just work 3 days a week but those days my dogs is alone for 9 hours I do the easy stuff like using kongs/hide treats etc when I leave home...so what would your dog do if you leave home for several hours hahahaha sorry if i am been tooooooo specific annoying but I mean why get a dog that doesn't really suit your life style...oh yes plus we live in a City... LA hahaha how they do with other dogs? If they are properly socialized since early stages are they going to be ok? Or are they dominant?
Be careful with that, then. I have to crate her when no one is around because she panics and tries to find us. Miles and miles of trying to find us. Scary. They are extremely loyal- to the point of being frustrating to get time away from them. By 'they need a job' then need to have something to do every day that makes them work physically and mentally. Mine makes the rounds with me around the farm every day, and we practice voice and silent commands every day. She's learned that her job is to check the place out with me regularly and if something prevents her from doing that she gets upset. This breed is prone to dominant behaviors. They require absolute confidence in their humans, but, like many mastiff breeds, are highly sensitive to correction. Being consistent, firm, but a light touch can be a hard balance. Do not play tug of war with this breed- it's a serious training game for them. I honestly don't know how well this breed would do in a city environment. They definitely like their space.
Lynn Klug All this information is awesome! Thank you so much for your time and yeah...like you said you have a farm! Hahaha careful with that separation anxiety (had that problem before...we had to make our fence higher cause of that...)! Seems that you got a very sweet sweet dog! And lmao pointing out about tug war that's a nope haha I am a very small person... again thank you for you time! But yeah...i think a dog like that won't be that happy in a city :/ not the best match for me bummer haha. Before I knew this dog breed I was thinking to get a czech shepherd or a malinois...after this news i think I'm back to the shepherds lmao I kinda feel more confident with breeds that I know but learned a lot today :)
I have a cane corso X staffy. He was rescued by myself and a friend after being chained up in a yard and left. I couldnt have ended up with a nicer dog he's loving , always shows affection and is just generally a big softy, I'll always have a cane corso from now on!
I love this breed.. I owned two German block head Rottweilers.. Father Time caught up to both of them 2 years back.. I miss them to death .. I'm ready to own 2 dogs again and my wife & I have decided on this breed Cane Corso.. Absolutely beautiful breed ...
My Amstaff's good friend is a Cane Corso. These two can do all kinds of things to each other. But if another dog buts in then look out. They will back each other up.
Still learning about the breed one year later. I have a cane corso rott mix, such a lovable dog, but can also act like a Guardian. I also have a Siberian Husky and German Shepherd, all girls who get along well.Husky is dominant one/pack leader.
smith smith They dock it at the 4th vertebra according to breed standards. Mine was a rescue they cropped her tail completely and were going to do her ears next and fight her sadly.
smith smith It's fine if his tail isn't docked, personally I prefer that. I mean imagine if they "docked" your ear lobes at birth or something. The breed is hyper, loving, caring, demanding, dominant, and will protect your family. They do well with other dogs and people if socialized. They will still always be weary of strangers at first until they deam them safe around the family/"pack". Good luck if you get him/her. Just remember to socialize him/her.
just got 2 from bodyguard cane corso best 4,000 I ever spent these big ass dogs are smart loving and very protective perfect dog I'm definitely over the pit bull after having these guys
About twenty years ago I regularly went to a nightclub where the parking-security-guard had a Cane Corso. One day I saw the security guard getting attacked by some cokehead with a lead pipe, the dog got hit on the head and was bleeding all over his face but he never let go of the guy, the dog just pinned him down and that was that.
My big guy is the most Loyal, Loving, & laid back furry family member I could ever ask for. So overly protective of me & my familia- More so than any man could even pretend to be! As long as the family is good with you; so is he. But if he senses we aren't.. You had better start runnin, & run Quick! No more need for a gun.. I have a fully locked & loaded living weapon that Never leaves my side!! 😜 Love my Maximus
Thanks for mentioning that this dog needs an experience dog owner because in a list of dogs for new owner this breed was on it. I find it odd that this breed was not mention in other lists for new owners. Now I know.
+Ikaika Kamai Thanks for the love bro. Prices are relative and not really the point of my videos. Breeders set the prices and they can range without rhyme or reason.

I have never owned a dog but I want to buy Cane Corso. It is beautiful. I know they need to be socialised and that they are dominant and need to be properly taken care off. I participated in growing up of my friends dog Sarplaninac (type it and check him out, it is also big and dominant dog) so I think I can take care of Cane Corso. What do you think?
l have just bought one. will pick him up after he is old anough to seperate from its mother. bought it because there are thieves around and l need a guard dog in my yard. l have 3 kids one of them a baby. l have done some reserch that these dogs are verry good with children ? l have owned alot of dogs ( mostly hunting dogs ) so l know how to train dogs. are thay safe with children like this video sugests ?
You left alot of things out the corso! We been trying to get into contact with you guys about the corso! History part alot of things you guy's left out!
Okay Now I understand, Great job you guy's are definitely doing! I'm good friends with Mike Antonio Sottile jr, who family first brung the Cane corso and the Neopolitan mastiff to America. You guy's have to here his story about both breeds! We were trying to talk with Dave wilson about registering the corso with your registration! There's a lot of drama with the breed, the truth has to be told.So my next question is can you guy's help us?
I'm not part of the ABKC. This channel is in no way affiliated with the ABKC. However, I do know Dave and James Cooper the Vice President of the ABKC. Send me an email with you contact info at bullybadasstv@gmail.com
daniel bartonik Calm down Shirley. It's a simple and honest question. No need to get worked up and abusive over it. Why would someone get two dogs just to find out the difference? Now *that* is moronic. lol
They are adorable! I have 2 that have been breeding for 3 years. (Promo:Go follow us on facebook and twitter @5starcanecorso) Sadly, With their ears not cropped, It could cause many infections in the ears.
+Melanie's Appropriate Apologies I would have no issues cleaning them, if that was seriously the case we would crop labs, beagles, rotties ect. I got no issues with cropped ears just my preference
I find, more and more, that non-dog people judge dogs on their looks. I'm happy my Cane Corso has cute, floppy puppy ears. Less likely to have the neighbors complain that I have a "dangerous" breed. I'm used to cleaning my OEM's and AM's ears. I'd rather put in the work than have people want my dog destroyed because he looks scary. I'm so worried since all those stories about communities banning pit bulls. If needed, his bark and stance will be enough to discourage an invader, no matter what his ears look like.
😩@2:13 whoa wait a minute - kids are watching. & listening...great just great...🤦♀️now I have to explain to my niece why you used the “B-word” instead of just saying “female” - hope she doesn’t go back home to tell them I let her watch a video with curse words 😔...🤨guess I’ll have to head this off and tell her parents first. 😖
I have a pretty much clone of this dog (white markings) accept he has his tail and ears, in my opinion its disgusting that people mutilate there puppy's like that.
I'm happy i live in a civilized non 3rd world country where mutilating and chopping off parts of pets for beauty reasons is illegal. Cane Corso's are way more beautiful with their tails and ears intact and they look way less aggressive naturally. I bet if dogs could speak they would prefer to not getting butchered for their owners need of attention and inferiority complexes.
firstly, let me point out i DO agree cropping purely for cosmetic reasons shouldn't be done, but then, a lot of this ideology comes from the dog shows and the whole conformation side of things, However, if a dog is a working dog, then if its neccessary to do then i believe that's fine. I live down on the heel of italy out in the country, I also have a male corso, stunning dog, about an inch and half above average and 55kg. His ears are cropped, but his tail isnt docked. Why, you might ask. My answer to that is simple. there are millions of wild dogs in this area, a HUGE problem. I could go stand at the gate and in maybe 4-5 mins, a good sized pack of wild dogs could go running past, maybe 5-10 strong. I do a lot of work outside my land in open field and my corso comes with me out there to watch me and look after any tools i have with me, I only cropped his ears because it is less for a wild dog to grab on to if he got into a scrap, that IS what they go for after all, i chose to leave the tail on because i have 2 other dogs, a working line german pointer and a pit/lab cross. The tail is their communication, their voice. So, long story short, if it's a working dog then i'm all for it, it has a purpose otherwise it wouldn't have been done for thousands of years by people who need these dogs for everyday life, if your some thug who lives in the city and want your dog cropping because it makes you look bad then tbh you shouldn't really have dogs in the first place
Corso Breeder shows her amazing dogs...ruclips.net/video/fNhIsq65PrE/видео.html
So glad they didn't go extinct ~ gorgeous dogs!
My corso is the most gentle dog I've seen, especially with kids. He adores kids! He is sooooooo loving and very smart. An amazingly good dog. Mine got unusually large and tall, 150lbs.
Got two of them, absolutely awesome guards who are great with family. Calm, smart, and protective.

Fell in love with the breed 7 years ago, now we have 3. I will always have a Corso in my life.
How do you maintain dogs with life and full time job?
I don't have to work, my husband has a good job and it's just us and our dogs...hahaha
Has drooling ever been a problem?
@@jefisimo They really only drool when food and/or water is around.
This breed is excellent at reading facial expressions, I taught my CC American Sign Language. :) He seems to prefer ASL to verbal commands. So cool.

Dog lover's introductions are great. Keep em coming
I have one and I love her. Great goat guardian, very quick learner. Nice video! Hit all the high points with some great footage!

Super dog. I met one blue female cane corso recently. And they are great breed ! Thanks for the video.
I love how he said “bitches” 😂😂😂😂

smith smith They dock it at the 4th vertebra according to breed standards. Mine was a rescue they cropped her tail completely and were going to do her ears next and fight her sadly.

great video! One of my top 5 favorite breeds.

thanks bro, love these dogs. you should add price ranges in your vids. thumbs up
+Ikaika Kamai Thanks for the love bro. Prices are relative and not really the point of my videos. Breeders set the prices and they can range without rhyme or reason.
+Ikaika Kamai Price ranges are going to vary on quality of the dog. A quality breeder is going to have pups in the 1500-2500 range.
There around one thousand dollars
have sent a lot of backyard breeders with huge 150lb cane corsos, bad for the breed love a working dog nice vid
+Brince Etter Rarely you'll come across them, but that's a little too big. My female is 95lbs. My male I recently lost was 120lbs.
Yo man how about a video about Fila Brasileiro ,Boerboel, Caucazian Sheepdog, Alabai ,kangal ,Tosa Inu ?
dying to see more footage from shows

Love this dog
great video would love to see one on the staffordshire bull terrier
keep of the good work. Are you going to do Neapolitan Mastiff?
+monkeycapricorn69 I have an appointment to film some on Monday. I don't know how soon the video will be up though.
Great presentation. I'd love to see a video on the Donovan Pinscher if at all possible.
+Masa Hotep Working on it.
+Masa Hotep I'm not sure if the original breeder is still in business. He was faced with charges of animal cruelty due to him having hanged two 20 week old pups that didn't meet his standard for the breed and then dumped them behind a gas station. Maybe someone else is breeding them, but I don't think Donovan is anymore.
+Weirdanimalboy I've seen a couple of them being worked in person. Skittish as hell.
They are really beautiful dogs! Hope you make a video of Weimaraners some day :)
Can't wait for the dogo argentino
I have a mastiff I love them dogs
Preciate It!
Gorgeous dog and I love these bigger breeds. But I can't imagine the food bill for them at the end of the month. :O
My puppy eats 5 cups a day, my 6 year old only gets 2.5 cups.
Great Dog!
I just found this on google looking up what it was while watching vet show where one attack owner and her cat They having to sew several rips up
I have never owned a dog but I want to buy Cane Corso. It is beautiful. I know they need to be socialised and that they are dominant and need to be properly taken care off. I participated in growing up of my friends dog Sarplaninac (type it and check him out, it is also big and dominant dog) so I think I can take care of Cane Corso. What do you think?
i would like to see a vid about neapolitan mastiff/ mastino
+kruger04 working on it
+kruger04 Neo and Cane Corsos used to be the same dog. There was also the Cane Da Presa Meridionale; which is now the working variant of the Neo
is it kinda of mastiffs ?
I'd love to see a video about Boerboels!!!
Same
+thaifighter96 they have mate
Lion killers
I don't know when it was made, but the Boerboel video has been made by this channel
Please do a german shepherd one?
I've been steadily falling out of love with the Cane Corso, but this has started to rekindle the flame.
+xCyberdog I hate the show lines that have had Boxer introduced into them. I prefer the older lines of working dogs.

You left alot of things out the corso! We been trying to get into contact with you guys about the corso! History part alot of things you guy's left out!

What can this dog do that an American Bulldog can't? Does it somehow make a better guard dog?
daniel bartonik Calm down Shirley. It's a simple and honest question. No need to get worked up and abusive over it. Why would someone get two dogs just to find out the difference? Now *that* is moronic. lol
You gonna have to cover everybreed now bro your fans are asking for lol
I have a Corso pup
i would keep the ears. because i would love flopping themXD
Oh! Well, In my opinion we just think that if you cropped the ears it would be better. BUt it's always up to you.
+Carol Melancon are you in Ontario, Canada?
haha "bitches"

Great Video...I wonder what that Troll, Master of Bulldogs has hateful to say about this...He looks like a gremlin by the way.
Introducition?
😩@2:13 whoa wait a minute - kids are watching. & listening...great just great...🤦♀️now I have to explain to my niece why you used the “B-word” instead of just saying “female” - hope she doesn’t go back home to tell them I let her watch a video with curse words 😔...🤨guess I’ll have to head this off and tell her parents first. 😖
LovingAtlanta you realize it isn’t a curse word? That’s the actual term. A female dog is a bitch and a male is a dog.
It's a good opportunity to explain to her that "bitch" isn't actually a curse word. It's just a female dog.
was the 7dog
You forgot, stubborn, mouthy and constantly challenging.
I just uploaded a video of my dog.. I'm not sure if shes a half cane corso for sure.. can you check it out and let me know?
Did you get paperwork for the dog? Did you see the parent's bloodline? Any of that? That should tell you,
Bizarre to see people still crop the ears and tails of dogs.
are they on that ridiculous mean dog list?
I have a pretty much clone of this dog (white markings) accept he has his tail and ears, in my opinion its disgusting that people mutilate there puppy's like that.
jesus-christ they are beautiful
This looks like it has boxer bred in it..
Geez my cane corso wil not be cute when he grows
I have a girl brindle
Hopefully you have permission to use Annie and her dogs in this video.
