I bet you a million bucks these people are cought in an alternate dimension, where they're stuck in this studio and every day there's a new eldtrich appliance they have to present. There's no actual audience, the sound is just coming from the void beyong the studio, they can't leave, they can't get hurt (hence Bills arm being completely fine after the Damasu incident) and they can't die either.
I love this show. I always get super nervous when they are about to present the dish, preparing myself for whatever abomination you've thought of this time.
I could really imagine Bill's cooking show as a Stephen King novel, with the title of Food Inc. or something like that.
I can confirm from personal experience that this is EXACTLY how reliable "as-seen-on-TV" products are.

You know what, in the oats "universe" there probably are vampires.
I thought the same thing...like that was how this one was going to end...with a vampire attack
Yeah, and they'll probably looking something absolutely eldritch and/or disgusting. Rotting flesh, bloated bellies visibly pulsing gurgling with half congealed blood that leaks from the belly button or whatever, ribbons of flesh and skin ripping and unfurling from its body to form gross macabre bat-like wings. Maybe a jaw that unhinges and splits vertically in half, as successive rows of teeth and suckers protrude forth from its gaping maw to dig in and latch onto its victim.
Listen, I know that "weird thing exists in the SCP universe" is the cliche thing to say when talking about any vaguely surrealistic internet horror thing nowadays, and for the most part almost every OATS film has stood on its own enough to me without my brain associating it with SCP (except maybe Firebase).
But in the case of Cooking With Bill, I can absolutely see this being one of the more darkly comical SCPs (as well as the various devices advertised).
When you watch an episode of Cooking with Bill for the first time, you always know something will go wrong...

Cooking with bill, reminds me very much of Don't hug me Im scared, in its Atmosphere change using adiance and musical cues, to turn something light and Normal, into something psychologically disturbing.
I love these shorts, Blomcamps directional and choice artistic style, cant wait to see Zygote
As much as I love these shorts I don't think I would go as far as to purchase them as dlc or dvds. Especially if they are on RUclips for free. I would recommend monetizing the channel as a means to further fund studio work. You guys definitely deserve that, and as a viewer I would not disparage you for taking some ad money for your expert work.

Zygote: Yeah, there’s another with Dakota Fanning called Zygote. That piece is pretty awesome, and the creature in it is really cool.
