They should've removed MK1 and replaced it with Dragon Ball Fighterz in Honor of Akira Toryiama. I guarangoddamn tee that game would've been 100x more hype than Mortal Kombat 1 even if they shown Takeda gameplay trailer.

KOF is one of the hardest games so there are not much Top Skill players.
im telling you man mortal kombat is for casuals now and there's nothing wrong with that, i would consider myself a dedicated casual but what people CAN'T DO is pretend MK11 and 1 is fit for on stage pro play.....MK is built to make people go "oh cool or oooh savage" but it's not an edge of your seat fighting game in fact they put more work into the intro's and fatalities than they do the moment to moment fighting what a disappointment.
I swear if the grand finals of 3rd Strike is Yun mirror match, it'll be the most boring match to see.

And that is another indications of how f-d up MK1 on f-d up meter. NRS failed to provide a good game and they got what they deserved. But what's funny thou, is hearing them shills screaming that another guest character gonna save MK1. Nope, they will not. None of those characters gonna save a broken and empty a$$ game.
The lack of interest is not just in the FGC. At any given period there's generally not a lot of interest on twitch, outside of the launch or a new character. Smash appeals even more to casual but, it retains a lot of people.
As long it's making money NRS won't change anything. Stop buying their games if you want something to change, simple as that.

I know people are excited for Takeda, but I'm not. I'm concerned that NRS is going to fuck him up. I don't think he will be nowhere as good as he was in Mortal Kombat X. NRS only seems to care about Johnny Cage and Peacemaker. No other character is nowhere near their level. The characters suck in this game. Takeda will be no different. He'll probably be popular for a week and then no one will talk about him anymore.
If ed can’t see this for himself he needs to be replaced and handed back to John Tobias

If NRS was smart they would add a NO CAMEO assistant mode.

Its a gd mess but if u find the eastereggs in invasions mode the story does continue on from story mode at times its hard to peave together an there completely idiots for doing it like that thinking everyone is a diehard fan when they just should tell everyone the story. See did u even notice kenshi had faked his death an come back in the titan havik battle along with ashrah who redeemed as a angel and quan chi who turn good also. Explaining the 3 best fighters to beat tiran havik ashrah, kenshi, and quan chi is the main best one. Ashrah and reptile fall in love and have a bb then reptile is killed so she did get revenge for him. Kenshi went undercover in black dragon an was caught and killed only to fake his death. And quan chi had teamed with deadly alliance again unleash melina clones with shang, aqquired the cybers, and unleashed the shadow presiats to now turn on titan havik. This games a shiz show 😅

Mortal Kombat is dead, it died with Midway. This abomination that Warner Bros/NRS have created is just wearing an MK skin suit.
If you still consider Mortal Kombat as being in the top 3 biggest fighting games, it won't be for long at this rate. NRS has competition that they didn't have back in the day. They can't afford to keep making mistakes and making bad games. We are experiencing the fall off of Mortal Kombat right before our eyes.

Havoc: He needs at least five new attack strings, he needs his legacy move that titan havoc has were he takes off his head and rolls it but its a mid, has the same affect as reptiles acid ball, and also hits mid exploding on contact. he also needs another one of his legacy moves that again titan havoc has where he bends his hole body for a low projectile and the amp of that can be a knock down allowing for combo extentions for cameos like scorpion
Sub-zero: he needs his attack strings made slightly faster except for his overhead, he also needs 1or 2 new attack string launchers, both his regular and amp iceball needs to be faster to not only be able to combo with it off of normal attack strings but in juggle combos too. He should have the ability to throw his ice clone, i also think he should have his ice burst special back with the same proporties as mkx to compliment his ice clone(but just does not send you that far away). lastly he needs some of his damage scailing off ground freeze.
Scorpion: should be buffed by making his amp ground tp a launcher again and make the cancel built in to both his regular and amp tp. he needs new strings some mix ups(i personally want his mkx overhead back). some moves need to be sped up
Quan shi: needs his mind control move from mkx back, and make half his attack strings faster. and finally his low tentacle needs to be one bar
Raiden: change raiden's b2 back to the mkx launcher but make it as slow as sub'z b2. give him back his vicinity blast move back with the same properties as mkx. he also needs to be buffed by making his amp electrocute special launch no matter how many bars he uses
liu kang: for starters nerf his f4 one button pressure but give him his 113 mkx launcher back along with maybe one or two more new attack strings. make his low fireball slightly faster, change his air fireball to the mkx fireball and the amp the one we have now. give him back his mk 11 dragon parry, and finally make his fatal blow start up 2 hits but the first one restands
