This song is a song to motherhood from prehistory to the present day. Blanca fuses flamenco with electronic rhythms in a unique way. The costumes and staging turn the song into a 3-minute movie. I hope he stays in the top 5 and, if possible, that she wins.

Thats a very interesting question. Taking this seriously, I (Maria) don't think all woman will, but all probably could in the right circumstances and mindset. As a Spaniard, I can only say that the more I listen and watch the "Ea Ea" videos, the more I like them. It is his poetry, his musicality, the visual representation and his emotionality that make me fall in love. If the world is sensitive, Spain will win in the votes, hehehe. the figure of the archer is the alter ego of Blanca Paloma. She has been using that pose in her performances since last year. In the staging of this song it can have many meanings, for example, that of a warrior, because in the live show she was dressed as a warrior (with a minimalist armor and the archer's arm).

Even for us spanish speaker The song is so deep meaningfull, The most beautiful part of the song is " My child when I die, bury me at the moon, so I can see You every nigth, except one" making referenses to the "new moon", in spanish is more poetic , no one can make a precises translation, this is a pieces of art so Big like a symphony

This song is a song to motherhood from prehistory to the present day. Blanca fuses flamenco with electronic rhythms in a unique way. The costumes and staging turn the song into a 3-minute movie. I hope he stays in the top 5 and, if possible, that she wins.

I find it surprising that so far no analysis of Blanca Paloma's song has addressed the obvious pink elephant in the room. Worldwide, red is associated with women's menstruation and white with semen. If we read the lyrics of the song, Blanca plays with a multitude of symbols that represent feminist empowerment, not to mention the erotic implications. A child is the result of a process that cannot be separated from sexuality, and it is right in front of the audience. Nothing in Blanca's show is coincidence, and we hope that those who have seen a ritual in the song will now see beyond the red curtain.

Virtue always plays out it´s part in the ESC, and so we think Blanca might have a fear chance. But thank you so much for sharing your honest opinion! It´s totally fear to cheer on a song that's not your cup of tea. This is not a song we would listen to on a daily basis, but the performance is pure art and so powerful that it leaves us with a strong emotional reaction every time we see it.

Eaea is folk music from the South of Spain, and Terra (which translates as Earth) is folk music from a region in the north of Spain and gives off similar vibes but through a very different music style ^^

The problem with this song is that it doesn't get the attention of people at first listen and Europe are not going to appreciate it.

Thats a very interesting question. Taking this seriously, I (Maria) don't think all woman will, but all probably could in the right circumstances and mindset. But I think a lot of woman will be having an unexpected and strong reaction to this while watching it in Liverpool. I hope that will be highlighted in the social medias in the afthermath if that's the case, that would be an interesting phenomenological study for sure. What do you think?
