It's a great little bike, I do about 35 miles a day up and down the A1 in all weather and the bike holds up really well, I've done over 2k miles and so far so good. I've got 67mph out of it aswell wich is impressive.
You have made my day ! Another Suzuki 125 scooter review - excellent. Have you any footage please of either the 'Address' or 'Avenis' on your trip to Scotland ? ( NB: It is worth pointing out that Suzuki have very cleverly made all three of their 125 scooters ('Address', 'Avenis', 'Burgman') 'priced to sell' against 'Made in China' OEM Re-brand scooters.)
This is an amazing video. Love to see you enjoying the machine. I have a sym fiddle 3 but find it difficult to find a mechanic who wants to work on it. I am thinking about getting this exact model and make. Thanks for the review
Hey Kate how are you doing today another great vlog love watching your vlogs nothing beats seeing you on a sportsbike wearing your leathers and swanky helmet and dark visor ride safe lovely 🤩
I saw you at motorcycle live on Saturday but you were busy chatting you are much smaller than I expected but but stunning looking keep up with your great reviews 👍 😊
True that it's popular, but I really can't see why, the Sh125i is a far better bike. If it was the only Honda available, I'd choose the Nmax instead. Many delivery riders in my area are on either a pcx or an Nmax. I did 34,000 miles on an 11 inch wheel Primavera, which is why I switched to the 16 inch wheel SH.
You sound like you’re having fun on these. Shame these only come with 8bhp. The full 125 allowance would be a big selling point for men who feel the need to have the fastest thing among their peers. I can see this being a go-to for Deliveroo riders and the like. I’m assuming they offer various racks and such for the back?
Garage : Multistrada V4S 175 hp and Kawasaki J300 scooter 29 hp.😂 I need both!! Love the scooter and get 85+ mpg and if you have a full licence it’s got plenty of grunt two up. Sadly mine has only got one bag hook! 😂
Bike sales are rock bottom at the moment. A combination of economic uncertainty of course, but the fact remains that the vast majority of the bigger spenders are the older riders like me, who are giving up riding with very few younger riders taking their place. It seems that bikes are no longer aspirational for younger people like they were for my generation, which I think is quite tragic. It's bikes like these which are likely to keep the industry afloat. People just don't want fast dangerous and noisy anymore (which is how bikes are perceived thanks to us) and practical, economical and cheap to run is the new cool
Hi kate, great review. Im new to bikes, do you know if you can fit a top box yo the avenis? Im wondering as the fuel tank is at the back? If you can how much do you think it would cost? Thanks 👍
Hey Kate, I think you've got a small glitch in your fuel consumption figures. It's 1.9L/100km for us "metrics guys", not the >52 as stated in the caption at 0:14:06... well, unless your Avenis was fitted with a 1952 American V8 ;-)
Think I prefer the Address better than this Avensis. It is more of a trad. looking Scooter, has more underseat storage and from what I remember of your Address review, it gives a little more bad weather protection especially if it were fitted with a screen. Which of the 2 has a central stand, and which did you prefer riding?
There is so much hype over having a fancy TFT but I find that I have no need for this....I clearly see the need with touring bikes when you are going to places you have never been, however if you spend most of your riding tooling around in areas where you are somewhat familiar then I don't see the need.
Our side many them calling as sctooy sctooy means only ladies ,old people think they carry things like bags shoot cases ....etc on footboard Our side many of them don't use front brake at all. They say we don't risk It is Godavari Rajamundry 😅😅😅
At least it has an LCD speedometer, so you can fit a Chinese knock-off SpeedoHealer to know your actual speed. With ridiculous 20 and 30 MPH limits, you've got to optimise the speed you get for the potential speeding fine.
@@UsernameKate The Saphe works as a shield. I've driven 120.000 km's as a travelling service tech in the last 4 years and I'm always speeding. Saphe warns me of mobile and fixed speed traps, so not one ticket in those years. The just shy of 20% rule is to avoid losing a point of only 3 on our licenses. The normal fines are just money, and speeding lets me squeze more visits in during a day/sleep longer/get home sooner. The speed limits are ridicously low on most roads - 80 kph/50MPH on 4 lane roads, rarely 90(55). 96 kph/60MPH is reasonable and prudent on most roads leading anywhere. If I lived in the UK, I'd be out at night giving Gatso's Soweto neckties.
@@UsernameKate not to worry, it is a premium 125 scooter that occupies top slot from year to year according to reviews, unless that is you're made of money and can afford the Forza, which most of us can't. So that leaves us with the Indian built ped. The Suzuki. I'm tempted by it but the PCX is awsome. And a grand more. Also half my body weight heavier. Still can't make my mind up, I wish the two could be run back to back. Can't seem to find a video on that one.
Nice enough but all three of the new Suzuki 125cc (Avenis, Address and Burgman Street) have ridiculous prices for such underpowered scooters. For £400 more you can buy a Piaggio Medley with 15hp and enough under seat storage for two full face helmets, a USB port, glove compartment, luggage hook, ABS braking all round. stop start, and 16x14 inch wheels. Big flaw with the Avenis is that you can't access the fuel tank if you have a top box. Unbelievable mistake by Suzuki.
Another very professional presentation which I found most enjoyable. No change there then. It wasn't until your dad saw the correct name that I realised I read it wrong. I had three brand new Toyota Avensis in my IT career and every one of them had the drivers door seal drop off at the top. Yup another wealth of useles information. Well .... what can you expect from a bald toothless specky b*****d ?
After years of bikes big and small I gave scooters a go. It was a revelation. Now aboard a Honda sh300. The perfect compromise.
I'm at 62,000 miles on my 21 sh125i. The 16 inch wheels are the best part. It also generally does over 200 miles to a tank.
I have mine and so happy with its performance.
It's a great little bike, I do about 35 miles a day up and down the A1 in all weather and the bike holds up really well, I've done over 2k miles and so far so good.

I see. The address has the same engine. How much do you weight?
There is no denying that scooters are more fun. Another thing is that people who are getting on in life could get on and off easily.
I just bought one last year..im still loving it..
That’s what I love about Kate! As long as it’s got 2 wheels Kate will have a go 😂👍
Definitely!! no discrimination over here
@@UsernameKateFront black color panel vibrating a lot while driving what will be a reason and how to solve this issue
That scoot looks great fun Kate!
It was!
My love of two wheels came about by trying my cousin's scooter back in the sixties. Never actually bought one in all this time always had motorbikes.
One of the best looking scooter ❤ watching from the Philippines😊
Thanks ✌️
Fantastic! I vote for a new regular “says Userdad with a cupper in his hand” column! 🤣🤣🤣

Great review. I like to see a variety in tests.
Thank you!
You must once get you hands on TVS N torq scooter. Its a very famous and powerful scooter here in India. 🎉
For a local run around or a commuter sounds decent enough, 2 bugs of Tatws , spuds are a similar weight 😊
Great fun review Kate.👍
Glad you liked it 😊
Hi Kate I like your Oxford jacket
Where did u have that from please?
I’ve just bought an avenis today and pick it up on Thursday

❤kate
Good review .
Glad you liked it!!
The more you talk about your Scotland trip the more I wanna see it 😂😂😂😂
I like it, but I like a bit more the more classic look of the Address.
Great vlog, 🏍👍
Thanks 👍
Nice little scoot and the singing was on point 😁
It’s Leigh! I grew up there.
You need to reviewthe Honda PCX Kate, so many usera are still wanting this bike.

I though you were about to be demonetised for a moment there with the dithering dilbert lol

Kate for as much as you and Mike rode them will there be a video of your adventure?
yeah we have a scotland trip i still need to edit, life is so busy and fast paced atm

They usually over read then under read so wouldn't you have less chance of getting caught speeding if you follow the speedo to a tee?

A £1000 cheaper than a PCX but is it worth the saving?

Donkey from Shrek face at the front.
yeah i agree lmao
