Just found you and my husband and I are both retired LEO’s and we moved to CDA. We love this state. Also my husband had a heart attack 3 weeks before the 5 year cap. It was so scary. We are so blessed to be raising our school age children.
@@northidahoexperience are their any woman in your group? When my husband has a Wednesday morning off we will totally join. I would love to head over and join. His retirement job is full time so when his days switch I will make him head in!!! God Bless Idaho and all of our countries amazing LEO’s, Firefighters, Armed Forces and all of those protecting our communities to make them safe💙
Thank you for your service. I am not law enforcement I have and I'm still a truck driver I'm in construction in western Washington I have my cabin over here in Bonners Ferry Idaho where I am at right now during the winter is the only time I get to enjoy it I have three more years until I can retire and I absolutely love it up here it is the most wonderful experience it reminds me of my childhood the way the people are. All law enforcement and Military are welcome here as long as they are pro-american and FJB!
Greetings! I've now followed this channel since January. Last week, bought a ticket to CDA to survey the area next month and see what North Idaho living could potentially be for me amd my family. Thanks for this segment, Seth!
FYI, I am getting postings every day for post office openings in Sandpoint, Sagle and Priest River areas. Be prepared, if you are planning to be a rural carrier, you may (probably will) need your own right hand drive. Additionally, there is a serious lack of subs for most offices.
I don't know whether to dislike you or like you. I don't like that you advertise to all of the Californians and others to come to Idaho, as it once was a really nice place to live and has declined considerably since the arrival of Californians and others. I know since you come from areas that were over-crowded and full of crime that Idaho seems so beautiful and perfect in many ways. Unfortunately for us Idahoans that have been living here for many generations, we have seen the decline of Idaho from what we used to consider pristine and not crowded to a crowded unaffordable place. Californians and others have seriously caused the tax base to raise and many locals have been pushed out of their homes and off of their homesteads. I have seen this happen several times and had friends that left because their families couldn't afford the inflated taxes. Do I like it that LEO's current and retired have moved here? Yes, I do appreciate that fact as we do speak the same lingo as you so put it. Its all of the snobs that have moved here with their wealth that cause many problems in my opinion. I'm still currently working the street(a bit longer) and I just shake my head in disgust when dealing with these types of people you recruit to move here. These Californians who quickly change their license plates to try and fool the locals that they aren't from California, well we know the difference and I do when making traffic stops on you. My family goes back to the White bird battlefield Indian wars here in Idaho and when I grew up in Idaho there were only 600k plus people in the entire state. Things are out of hand here in my opinion and I know you can't understand where I'm coming from. So keep on with your recruiting and I'll keep writing infractions and welcoming out of state people in my own way.
I get it. I came from a VERY small town in Northern CA, not the city (and I did not grow up in CA), so I did not come from an overcrowded and crime ridden area. Not all of CA is like that. In fact, a majority is rural, filled with conservative Americans whose vote doesn't count because of the large liberal cities. It sucks to live like that. They don't vote for that. Their values don't align with that, and they don't move to places like Idaho to change them into that. That's the reality. I assure you that no liberals watch our channel. They hate us. We are VERY vocal about our beliefs and always place our morals and integrity above making money. People are moving here anyway - no matter what we do, so we are very focused on making sure it is only the RIGHT ones. This growth is happening in every red state, not just Idaho. It should be blamed on policy makers who are ruining once great states and our nation as whole. Their policies are the real cause. They are the ones to get angry with - not our red-blooded American brothers and sisters who are looking for a home where they can raise their families. They are not the enemy.
@@northidahoexperience You make some good points and perhaps I got a bit out of hand with my previous statement. IMO, it's the Gozzers and other large developers that contribute much to the afore mentioned problems. And yes, many of my neighbors have sold out to Californians because of their greed. I'm not going to point the finger. If it's truly your intention to only recruit like minded people to the area, then I'll keep my mouth quiet and not comment on your videos. Thank you
43 years in law enforcement moved to north Idaho 6 years ago. Its like family here. Truly blessed
Love to hear that

There’s a lot of us in the south side of Idaho as well
Good to know!
The churches in North Idaho are great. This would make a good episode… interviewing pastors!
It's on my list for sure
How’s it being a mailman up there? Open to transferring
They are always hiring!

That is 100% my intention and I say it all the time. All good. Feel free to comment even if you disagree with us. We are all on the same team
Most cops here but no good donut shops! 🍩🥺 buy a house from Seth and build a legit donut shop! Need my donut fix during night shift.
LOL, I got you bro.
Davis Donuts shut down and now its a weird "Artisan Bistro". Fuckin' gentrification. Davis Donuts was there for 40+ years.
