Anton Bruckner: Mass in E minor | WDR Rundfunkchor | WDR Sinfonieorchester

Anton Bruckner's Mass in E minor, first performed 150 years ago in Linz Cathedral, is impressive: the eight-part work thrives not only during the choir's impressive a cappella passages, but also from the constantly recurring motifs of the wind ensemble. The wind ensemble of the WDR Symphony Orchestra performs this part; it is sung by the WDR Radio Choir conducted by Stefan Parkman. A recording of 7 December 2019 from the Kölner Philharmonie.
