Wonderful rendition! This Grosse Messe KV 427 is like a revelation with its genius obvious to everyone. As if we were involved in a wonderful journey towards a goal still unknown. This consert has all we need concerning musical power, commitment, nearness and beauty. And a chance for us to get familiar with one of our fellow citizens of this world, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

For those of you who haven't seen it I highly recommend the making documentary of Amadeus. It's on RUclips. The one with Spanish subtitles. It's really something else. Amazing what a movie can do. Truly amazing!! I saw it as a child and it stayed with me all these years. One of the gentlemen in charge of production even said that his one great achievement in making the film was the number of people who would now know who Mozart was and be introduced to his music. For me revisiting Mozart as an adult, like books that I was supposed to or tried to read as a youngster, has taken on an entirely new meaning. Life enrichment does not even begin to describe it. It's a life changer! Love affair if you will. WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART, Immortal Beloved may you rest in peace and live on forever and never be forgotten

WOW WOW 😅 As well as the entire orchestra of course conductor too. The crazy thing is that she sat there so humbly and then stood up to unleash a powerful and wonderfully beautiful voice! WOW! It reminded me of the priests at St. Patrick's cathedral who also sit very humbly before they get up to speak. 😀 I also love how they smiled at each other when they both stood up. LMFAO 😀

What I find so strange is that this music was written hundreds of years ago and I believe that the impact is still the same. Just as powerful today as it must have been in Mozart's time as well as the other famous composers whose music has lived on to this day. Even with all the variety of music that has been made since then I still feel that nothing can quite compare to this. It's in a class of its own for sure. I can think of nothing more elegant and elevated music than music such as this. Truly transcends humanity almost. Like it came down to us from the heavens. And if you watch the movie Amadeus you see that there is constant reference made to God. With music like this there is no other suitable reference point. How else to describe this? When I hear this it seems to go straight to the heavens, beyond our comprehension.

And in the movie Salieri when trying to describe Mozart's music says that it seemed to him that he was hearing the voice of God. There's just no other way to make sense of this. In my mind all other music deals with earthly things and this music instead of inhabiting the earthly realm of existence and human affairs shines straight upward into the heavens especially a mass like this. Although he did have operas that deal with mundane things. Lol

And just in trying to describe and compliment this music I see why that young Jesuit priest was listening to Mozart in his room LMFAO 😀 hahaha In looking up the word deference I learned two new things. Deference as in humble submission and respect due to elders and came home early in deference to his/her parents wishes. You can either go up or down people! LMFAO 😀 hahaha Just in trying to describe this music I see how it can change you. LMFAO 😀 hahaha it's almost as if different types of music exist in different worlds and different types of spaces. But that may be obvious. LMFAO 😀 hahaha But this music is as close to the heavens as one can get in my opinion for I feel that it is so above everything that I can completely understand why references to God and heaven are often made when people try to describe it. It must be as close as one can get to approaching the mystery and majesty of God that we as humans can get. I'm sure of this.
