@@christinaoneill3535 Ohhhh yes!! It's never short of emotion, it's such a brilliant piece , Derek's intro and the lead in. I only mentioned "other guitars" as a greedy thought, id love a documentary of "Derek plays......." for the sheer delight. X
You can see Derek like a bull in the pen all the way up to 3:25 and then he just busts out a throws the cowboy in less than 8 sec. I love Rick and Goose, but Derek just stomps on them like a boss. It wasn't even fair.
🎉they kinda got in the wway of each other after the first verse, the right side shoud have known what the left side was going to play, ,(FOH stage wise) its tough when two leads are going, dont care who it is ; likewise left should have let righty have giess rights, still two of my tops
I wonder how many people know that these bands are not organically formed, instead carefully crafted by the music industry to keep those $$$ coming in while the older musicians phase out. Pass the torch, and keep that paper coming in. $hame on $hapiro and all his cohorts
@@matthewsumma True, but the money needed to not have other jobs and tour on a scale like this (not to even mention a band like Phish), requires financial backing.
You trying to say Goose is just a group of random guys put together by a record company? I don't think any music industry folks are out here piecing together a jam band, bud. Let alone the fact that jam bands historically aren't the most commercially successful and lucrative bands for a record company; it's also a genre that requires a deeper sense of connection between the members of the band in order to pull off-- much more than off-the-shelf "rock" bands can muster. I'm really not even a huge fan of theirs, but I think it's pretty safe to say that Goose isn't just some lab-made group.
@STSGuitar16 I’m not trying to say anything. I am stating that the bands we’ve grown to love over the decades were carefully crafted by the music industry, especially bands like the Dead, Phish, etc. Trey is worth $65M, does that sound successful to you. Phish gets played all the time during outros during NFL and MLB games. Ken Kesey and the acid tests were C l A experiments. The “hippy counter culture” was a scripted and staged psy0p, using psychedelics and frequencies to affect the minds of the listeners. The Fare Thee Well shows brought in $52M according to Google. Do you consider that lucrative? Peter $hapiro was behind that money grab and he’s also behind Goose. Sorry to burst your bubble STS, but this world is not what it appears.
So 2 things, the lyrics and the jam! Derek and that guitar, man oh man!!❤
Id love to hear him try out some other guitars, just for the fun of it!!
@@jimbandaMaybe, but he's found his spot... his love ❤
Have you ever listened to his intro to Midnight in Harlem? Amazing!

@jimbanda Never know. He might dig it!
And yes, love his intro to Midnight in Harlem. Lots of emotion right there!
@@christinaoneill3535 Have a great '25 "Christina" , experience these legends as often as you can ❤️
I love how the whole band was smiling During Derek’s solo as to say …”holy shit! We’ve never heard anything like this during our song.”
lol. I wonder why.........
Oh, yeah, they’re having a ton of fun. Derek just reenergized this track in real time.
Lead singer/guitar player has a great sound and wonderful phrasing. :) Derek adds another layer a beauty on the already beautiful palette.
How cool is Derek??? He just exudes coolness....
Derek is so excited to hit the solo!
Derek is freakin' amazing.
3:33 like a chainsaw going through a nuclear silo. 🙌🏼
So I’m new to goose but not Derek, glad I’m on this new path… rip sky dog
Derek is the GOAT

yesssssssssssssssss
Fair to who? Perhaps it wasn't a fight.
Well that was fantastic.
IMO, There is only one that precedes Derek Trucks, and that would be Duane Allman.

I am guessing that they flew in from different parts of the country and maybe didn't even practice togethrer. Still sound pretty f..n great.

I mean, we wouldn’t want fun new bands to see or anything.
@ Fun new bands are great, it’s just unfortunate that they are not organically formed like we are expected to believe.
