I don’t necessarily disagree. What I do offer is this; they both stand on their own two feet. Even though they are ABB members and family they have their own voices and although they have learned a lot in their years in (and around) the ABB, they are completely great on their own. Skydog was an amazing player but has more years on the instrument then Duane did (no disrespect intended) and as much as Duane’s skill and soul is within him his progression on the instrument may have actually surpassed what Duane had. I realize that is quite sacrilegious to say the time aligns with that belief. Derek has forged his own path but can play anything on his instrument! Warren on the other hand, what can you say about him that doesn’t talk about his talent and absolute devotion to it and the musical genius that he can channel at will? Both are mind blowing as were the Allmans but all of them can stand on their own laurels!
@ I actually agree. It’s just that on this particular piece, I can hear Greg and Duane. Derek said there were ghosts in the room as they recorded this.
My favorite ABB duo. No ego, no agenda, no over playing, or playing over. Complementary, respectful masterful guitar gods. Thanks, boys! Warren, great song on so many levels. Loved every second
It's not easy to find two guitarists who complement each other perfectly. And you guys are so perfect in playing together. You were my favorite guitar duo when you were in ABB. My favorite ABB duo. Thanks, guys! I loved every second of your playing together. Happy to hear you together again. I hope to listen you again in others occasion. Thanks, greetings from Italy. 💚🤍❤
What a great song, it's great, with a lot of feeling. What a pleasure to get up in the morning to work and be able to listen to this music. Thanks,Greetings from Berlin Germany.
These two are genuinely one of the best musical duos we have ever had the pleasure to witness. Great to see them together again with what amounts to the final ABB song. Just incredible!
Two brilliant guitar players,,,with assistance from a bunch of brilliant ghosts! Beautiful tune! I will miss the A.B.B. until the day I die,,but this definitely helps along the way
I pray that when I make it to heaven the angels trumpet with tone this sweet and God welcomes me with a voice so warm, but until then my church is these two. Peace
It's a sad day for anyone who remembers the Allman Brothers band. Duane Allman was the leader of the band and the glue that held everything together. Playing a slide with the infamous coracedin bottle. Also he was no slouch just playing his guitar with no slide. I've been to his grave a few times ( Rose Hill Cemetery) in Macon Georgia and sat on the marble bench that Eric Clapton had specifically made.
As I lay Screaming and crying for months after loosing everything and two closet friends…. I begged For the Maker And Father of US to PLEASE Love ME. I Heard His Voice… Tge desire in your Heart to be loved I Me IN YOUR Heart wanting YOU To LoVE ME. 😭 I went to a whole new level of Grief - All I Could Say Is I LOVE YOU - ❤Real Love Pours Out From Within May We Let IT Be May We Know And Be ❤
Definitely one of the highlights of the new album, beautiful soulful song! Warren and Derek are 1 of my favorite guitar duos of all time, so glad they're playing together more again
So so good. The new album is really awesome too. Derek's playing on there sounds so great. I hope they will collaborate/play together more in the future. Huntsville in Feb BOUGHT!!! Saw P'Cola too. Everyone go. They sound great.
Such Heart and Soul!! Thanks Warren and Thanks to Derrick to for bringing the Southern Soulful Bluesy Slide and makes it Complete. God Bless you my Brothers for keeping live Music and Blues Rock Southern Style, we need our Musicians and real Vocals & Real Music to stay Alive !! TY 🙏🎸✌️🫂🤠 Your Music-In-Law
I wouldn’t think you could get such a nice atmosphere with two electric guitars. I thought it would sound empty, but it sounds great and the fills and accents done by his buddy are perfect, not overdone.
Today would've been Duane's 78th birthday! Play on!
With Warren channeling Greg Allman and Derek channeling Duane, the whole thing becomes a soulful spiritual experience. Absolutely gorgeous!

They stand on their own here. Not everything has to be about the Allmans.
Thank you Warren
@54smartypants Why I like them so much is because of the excellent quality, and heartfelt music they make. This is great. Cheers! ✌️
My favorite ABB duo. No ego, no agenda, no over playing, or playing over. Complementary, respectful masterful guitar gods. Thanks, boys! Warren, great song on so many levels. Loved every second
zzzzzz...... kinda broad and bland! the blues never get old. pain is inexhaustible.
Heaven on Earth, running blissful master class guitars, with Truth pith history and example. God Bless your All's Gentlemen, in Jesus Name.
Nice to see you both together again ❤
There is beauty in this world. Gregg's lyrics, Warren's melody, chords and voice, and Derek from some other very fine planet.
Very well said.
It doesn't get any better than this. Pure gold.
Warren's looking great these days. Looks like he's eating healthy and taking care of himself, his voice sounds amazing too!
The Dream Duo forever! The best of the last 30 years together is unbeatable.
“Hey Siri, show me true musical talent.” Oh my goodness.
Warren and Derek: nothin' finer! Thank you, gentleman!
Dang! Derek plays slide, in and out and around a melody like Duane Allman. ❤
Govt Trucking Mule , Brilliant 👏
The lyrics are as good as the players, says enough off both! 😌
Phenomenally crisp. clean, genuine and moving! I have tears in my eyes. Thank you both for sharing your gifts with the world!

I grew up with Duane and Dickey...without them..this isn't a thing.
It doesn't get much better than that!
Was just singing this song to myself. Been stuck in my head for days. Amazing to see this live version pop up.
Just saw The Warren Haynes Band here in Boston, it was awesome, the only downside was DT did not show up.
When these two play together they create magic!
Happy Birthday Duane ❤
What a great song, it's great, with a lot of feeling. What a pleasure to get up in the morning to work and be able to listen to this music. Thanks,Greetings from Berlin Germany.
True professional musicians here. Wow, this is powerful. Derrick on that slide is nothing less than phenomenal.

The best part of these two is the room they leave for each other!
Not going to lie..it's getting weird that everyone I admired growing up is already gone..or on the way out. We're all sliding off the planet...
I hear ya bro! Scary how time and awareness seem to collide with each other as we age through the years. Life is so short!!
It seems like only yesterday.
Sweeeeeet!
All about the music with these guys! Always has been that way!
Beautiful. I’m sure Gregg would love that you finished this song with Derek.
