Dragonball has been pretty dead to me since super started. The Broly movie was pretty cool visually speaking. I was happy to see good animation again. But yeah this is just extra sauce on a dried up corpse. The db games always look good though so that’s great! Honestly I think majority of dragon ball fans will just take anything as long as it’s dragon ball content. People were starving for something after GT ended so I get it.
Daima's problem is the same problem GT had, amplified: Turning powerful adult characters into children. GT ultimately had awesome things in it, but didn't really ever need to make Goku a kid. I have a feeling Daima will have the same thing happen. Awesome moments, and no real reason to kidify the cast.

Additionally Toriyama in an older interview revealed that once a saiyan gets as strong as Goku and Vegeta their bodies no longer deem tails necessary so it stops trying to regrow one. Also in Goku’s case Kami made his tail permanently stop growing during Goku’s training with him in the time gap before the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai. Goten and Trunks were born without tails due to their naturally very high potential and base power.

I am most excited for the exploration of the demon realm within dragon ball daima looks amazing and badass, also seeing goku use the power pull again is really awesome and badass but that's just my opinion. I am also intrigue of maybe seeing my boy Gohan as kid self again which would really cute and amazing if we get to see that happen in my opinion.

My point is he was confirmed to be more hands on with Daima. Its the most he had been involved since the original manga/anime run. Idk why people cant be excited for both Daima and the eventual continuation of Super. It baffles me that ppl have this “its one or the other” mindset. Like doesnt it get tiresome constantly feeling like u need to shit on something simply bc u specifically didnt want it?

I gotta say. We're 9 eps in and the show so far has been pretty underwhelming. Ep 8 was pretty good. Really liked the action part and I am enjoying all the lores they're adding onto the series but over all it's barely just decent. The pacing is awful which is to be expected since it's Toei. The characters are generic and sterotypically boring. The designs are total ass. Like the new Majin Kuu literally looks like a filler character and that thing is supposed to rival Buu and be our main antagonist of the series. 😂 The Tamagami designs are also pretty ass. It's like a kid drew them. It's so childish and not in a good way. The design for every new characters are VERY disappointing... There are some good though. Not all is bad. I think the art and animation is very consistent. Idk if it is good yet cuz nothing I've seen so far has really impressed me. But hoping for Toei to pop off once the big fight begins. From what I've heard we're about half way through the series and so far if I had to rate it, I'd give it a 6/10. So it is as expected. If I'm being honest. Never really had any high expectations. I expected this to be underwhelming and it has delievered so far. 😂 I dont hate it though. It's a time killer show to watch when I don't have much to do after work...😂
